36. 1st step (complete)

1st step.

After covering a few meters.

Hesitantly

They reached near rest house type of place. It was like a huge mansion covering a few thousand square meters.

There came the sounds of giggling and shouts of the children playing and running.

A huge smile came on Savannah's face just listening to their voices. She was visiting after such a long time.

The driver was astonished he didn't think that there was really a place beautiful as a castle hidden in the woods. And the loud shouts of children also astonished him.

He was confused as to what this place really was.

They entered through the huge gates and Savannah ran inside.

She missed them soo much.

Savannah entered through the huge doors of the mansion happily and was greeted with lots of hysterical shouts before being engulfed by a bear hug by twenty small small children and losing her balance she landed on the floor but made sure that her little hearts won't be injured even a little.

Her back landed on the floor with a thud and she internally winced in pain with a small

"Oooff.."

When the children saw there one and only Anna they were soo happy that it couldn't be counted or showed. All wanted to hug her her and they did exactly that. They all jumped on her landing on the floor with her. But they still didn't stopped from hugging her.

"Annie"

"Sis.."

"Barbie."

"Snowy."

"Miss you."

"Love you."

"U don't cam fo soo many days"

"I want a lot of kissies."

"Stay here"

"Choco bring did you"

"Fower? Where are the fowers"

"I want hug bare."

"Darling."

"Seet hurt."

"My frog"

Savannah internally puked being called a frog lovingly by the boy but the smile was constant on her face.

And many more names. The children continued in their childish lovely voices without stopping. They tried there best to pronounce the difficult words and it was more than sweet than honey.

There was so much to listen to.

The care takers also came hurriedly listening to the commotion and seeing Savannah they understood why the children were so hyper.

The care taker was an old woman. She managed everything here.

The mansion was built in the modern way. It had all the modern appliances and furniture. From no where it looked like an orphanage. It was home. Home to many innocent children. A safe heaven for the naive children.

It was designed very well and there was a grand stair case which divided into two and then reach the second floor.

There was a huge portrait of children with Savannah on the wall and then the stairs divided into two in front of it

The mansion was majestic with light peach colour of walls and brown curtains hanging down the windows. It gave a very comfy and peaceful look and environment.

Savannah looked at the caretaker and nodded. Greeting her. The women was also very happy looking at her daughter. She smiled and nodded in return.

The driver also entered the mansion slowly and hesitantly as he was not invited in. But he just couldn't sit around.

He entered the mansion looking around and just as he looked up towards the second floor he froze. His eyes froze on the woman standing above. He couldn't believe his eyes.

The woman also froze on her place her smile vanished. Her eyes looking at the man blankly.

It was a coincidence.

A torturous coincidence.

Savannah didn't seem to notice the change in the room. She was busy giving kisses and hugging the little soft marshmallows.

"Uncle you can sit there and Farie, please bring him some food."

She said to the young girl standing near the kitchen.

There were some other girls also working in the mansion but here everyone was a family. They weren't treated as servants.

Savannah got busy with the children playing around forgetting the reason why she came here in the first place.

Stacy went to her room. She was tired. She didn't wanted to see him.

A truck entered through the gates of the mansion after being checked.

It was parked in front of the mansion and two workers came out of the truck and opened the back door of the truck.

Savannah with all the children, Stacy and the driver uncle, and everyone came outside looking at the truck.

Savannah thanked GOD that the delivery came right on time.

The children squealed loudly when they looked at the workers bringing out gift boxes.

The worker started unloading the truck bringing the big and lots and lots of gift boxes inside the mansion.

It took them nearly an hour to unload the truck.

There was a mountain of gifts packed and the children have surrounded the mountain from all sides. Stacy and everyone was inside.

Savannah gave the tip to the workers and also went in.

It looked as if she had bought the whole shop. And indeed she have bought the whole shop.

Savannah entered and she and the children again got busy with the unwrapping the gifts.

There were more than hundred different gifts for everyone. The young children received two two gifts while there were also gifts for the teenagers which haven't retuned yet. Stacy received a cashmere shawl.

Savannah and the children were playing hide n seek when she shutting her conscience went to the study room on the second floor.

The study room like the mansion was simply royal. She hurriedly went to the book shelf and picking up the second last book on the 3rd row she took the key and opened the last drawer of the table.

Taking out the key of the store room which was located outside the mansion hidden by the trees a little away that it couldn't be seen. But it was in the boundary of the mansion.

She stuffed the key in her coat pocket and went out to seek the hidden children.

Hehehe sorry my cuties.

Savannah and the children played many games from hide n seek to tip-top to king stop to chocolate chocolate and every

game they could ever think about.

The 5-year-old and less were all tired to their bones and just laid down on the couches and sofas in the lounge.

Savannah silently went to the store room without coming inside the mansion with kids.

The store room was covered with dust and leaves. It's been year's since anyone stepped here.

The door creaked as Anna opened the door.

The old room was filled with shelves which had many files in it. There was only a sofa and a lamp on the corner decorated with a thick layer of dust. Few portraits were placed in another corner covered with a wight cloth and few very old toys which contained hand woven dolls etc.

Anna stepped inside and glanced around. Her expression was as cold as ice. She would t have stepped foot here if it wasn't for Her. She hated this place from the bottom of her heart.

She walked towards the shelves and starting looking around for the files that will surely come I handy.

This will be the very first proof.

Proof if the injustice She suffered.

Anna cleaned the dust filled files with the dusting cloth she brought. She wasn't going to use her delicate hands to clean this dusty dust.

....

A row of black cars entered the premises of the "Heavens Orphanage."

There were 4 black cars that parked in front of the mansion.

10-15 buff men came out of the car and entered the mansion.

Anna was searching for the files when she heard the commotion. She came out of the store room to look what was going on and seeing the men dressed in black entering the mansion she was alerted.

Anna instead of going to the mansion went back to the store room and started searching for the files for which she came here.

And that was the best thing as in the next ten minutes the men were coming towards the store room.

What in the world do they want?

Anna continued to hurriedly look around for the file.

She has decided to take only Gia's file but then decided to take her file as well.

Just as she found her and Gia's file which were placed on top of each other. the door knob twisted.

Savannah gulped looking at the door.
