so here it is.

Her comfy clothes looked no better than rags. She didn't liked to change her old things because she forms a bond with them. That's why her wardrobe unlike other girls was filled with comfy rags and old clothes except for the ones that were really necessary all the other clothes were old.
Even her school pouch was the one she was using from fifth grade. Old and worn out.
Savannah decided to make mac and cheese for her self and her dad.
She gobbled down the food filling her tummy and revising her lectures she slept
.......
Mr. Hudson came home by 10 pm.
First, he went to Savannah's room finding her sleeping on her bed. He sighed in content.
she was home today by time.
He freshened up and wore his night suit and went to the kitchen for a late dinner.
He opened the fridge finding a covered plate of mac and cheese with a note.
'I was home by 7 don't worry. Try my HAND MADE mac n cheese.'
Mr. Hudson smiled and heated the plate in the oven and made himself a coffee and placing them on a tray he took them to his room. He switched off the lights of the kitchen and lounge.
He just had to do a little more work.
......
It was 1 pm when he came down for some water. The kitchen lights were on. He remembered switching all the lights off when he went upstairs. The lights were switched off of the lounge but the kitchen light was on.
The first thought that came in his mind was.
Did someone break in.?
He silently went to the drawer below the Tv and took out the g*n he hid there for safety purposes. Savannah knew about it.
He then with soft silent steps entered the kitchen.
There was no one in the kitchen.
The door leading to the laundry area was open and the light was also on there.
He walked there and peeked in through the half open door.
His eyes landed on the figure sitting on the ground. It was moving and saying some gibberish in a hoarse voice. It had long hair that reached to it's waist.
It's a girl.
He guessed
Is it a ghost.
Mr. Hudson silently neared the figure. And it was doing something in the front with her hands.
"Who are you?"
"Agghhhhhhhh....."
Just as he asked in his cold hard voice, the girl was startled and shouted loudly.
She who was sitting on her feet fell down as she shouted.
It's a Human.
After shouting when she heard no commotion from behind she turned around only to find her father pointing the nozel of the g*n on her head.
Not someone less than a ghost either.
Mr.Hudson thought looking at the face of his ghostly daughter.
"Papa I'm your daughter."
Savannah said sniffing. her eyes shining with unshed tears.
Mr Hudson backed away the g*n and gave a pointed look to his dumb daughter.
Oh God, Please give her a little just a little bit of ability to use her mind and intelligence.
He prayed.
"My dear Ghostly daughter what are you doing....(he looked at the wall clock in the kitchen)...at 1 am in the night."
He asked a little angrily and looked at her hands which were filled with white bubbles from the detergent. A tub filled with detergent and water with a white shirt soaked in it.
Mr.Hudson raised his eyebrows asking what in the world she is doing this late in the night.
Savannah pursed her lips like she always does before crying out.
And she did that.
She wailed out her story in the middle of the night sitting on the ground with detergent soaked hands.
Big drops of tears rolled down her rosy cheeks from crying.
Hudson's heart pained looking at his only daughter whom he spoiled and loved so much to cry like this.
He hugged her crying form and shushed her like a baby.
Savannah was really hurt and sad being humiliated like that. Although she was strong and not hurt easily but when she woke up from her sleep having a nightmare of getting wet again she was really sad.
It wasn't a thing to cry about near her. But because she had to gather her lazy a*s and wash the bastard's shirt in the middle of the night her heart hurts.
Her sleep was disturbed. It was a great grievance to wake up from the bed only to wash his shirt.
Mr.Hudson sighed at the dramatic self of his daughter. Her main focus and grievance wasn't on the fact on being bullied or humiliated but on the thing that she woke up in the middle of the night and washed his shirt.
He knew her so well.
Savannah's all grievance and hurt washed away just as her fathers love filled hands caressed her head.
He always took away all her hurt and grievance with a single hug and a love filled pat on her head.
That's the magic of parents. A single pat on the head and a hug full of appreciation and love can and would take away all the problems of children. That's how it always been and will be.
Parents are the anchors for their children and the solace and the safest place on earth for them.
And the children are the whole life's work of the parents. They earn for them and help them and teach them the morals of the world. And it's the children duty to make their parents proud. That they raised them well. And be the support for their parents when they grow old.
It's the purest form of the bonds.
