ALEX

“As a young rich and good looking engineer, every woman wants to patch and have a test with him because of his s*x appeal”

“ Alex started like this, on my honeymoon with Sandra the same night after our wedding.”

I was with Sandra in the bedroom admiring each other,when I got a call from Mr Walter our MD to go supervised a work at one of the site.

Sir as you can see I just got married today while still wearing his wedding suit.

Mr Walter looked at him and said, will the whole world go to bed because you got married or are you not interested in this job?

Alex said don't worry sir I will go, let me get myself ready then.

“Sandra was at home still in her wedding gown walking around the house, Alex came in and Sandra asked him what is the problem honey?. Alex said I got a job to do so I am traveling.

“Sandra shouted" why ? Is our wedding night can't you see Alex but ……,

Sandra grabs Alex and kisses him but his mind was not there.

“Honey I will miss you so much, you know we are supposed to travel to Paris for our honeymoon"

“Alex said I will be back soon", you will have me all to yourself.

He hugged her and kissed her forehead.

Nothing but I know she is not happy Alex replied.

Sandra was sitting outside with her childhood friend. Sonia a therapist who was also her chief bridesmaid during her wedding.

“Sonia just imagine I could not spend twenty four hours with my husband newly married couple.

Sonia smiles and sips her orange fresh juice.

Sandra, I just told you something and here you are smiling.

“Sonia said, please allow me to be because I know I told you to prepare yourself for this when you people were dating, but you won't listen now here you are complaining.”

Sonia asks, "Tell me what do you want to do?

Because as an engineer there is a tendency that he will not be available all the time.

But you were blinded with love because he is handsome, tall and rich.

Sandra said before our wedding we had an arrgeement.

“ Sonia said at least you had a handsome hard working man as a husband so relax and enjoy it”

Sandra smiled and said yes! you can say that again and again, that is why he could afford this stone on my finger.

Showing Sonia her wedding ring both of them laugh.

“Alex is still with Ken narrating his stories, how they had accident, and he lost his friend David.

It was at the hospital he meet Gift, and they fall in love after she donated her blood to him.

“Ken ask him how did know she is the one?.

“Alex says from one of nurse called Erica”

Mrs Susan was a rich business woman and an elder sister to Gift.

Towards the evening time, Mrs susan was at the kitchen when her sister came sitting quietly at the sitting room thinking.

You are looking tired. How is work today? Mrs Susan ask.

Gift looked at her sister, good evening sis, she said yes I am.

“Mrs Susan approached her, what is it?

Alex don't have time for me .

Mrs Susan said yes I know but engineers barely have time for their family due to job calls and all that.

But you know that already.

Gift says to her never mind sis I will be fine.

At Alex's house the three ladies are still there fighting and dragging each other claiming who is legally married.

Sandra asked Jane, "Can you tell us how you met my husband Alex?

Because this lady standing here said she donated her blood.

Jane explain to them how he met Alex.

After our training in the camp I decided to visit a friend of mine by name Caro who is doing her internship as an engineering student.

“Hello caro anything for your girl?

And caro replied ehhh am at the site now can you come over there?

Jane replied okey send me the address am coming.

The phone cut.

“At the site caro and other engineering students were watching the work which Alex and Mr Walter was supervising, there was a sound of a car behind”.

Alex looks and sees a charming fair skinned young lady in army uniform coming close to the site. Caro looks at Alex and wonders who he is looking at.

She turns out it was Jane, am here she works close to her and they hug each other.

As the work was going on Alex and Jane keeps having eye contact with each.

“Mr Walter said that is it for today, I will be having a board meeting with Global construction company in the next thirty minutes he and Alex left the site immediately.”

At Caro's apartment, please Jay, what can I offer? Jane replied food.

As they were eating, caro said to Jane I saw how you were looking at my boss, Alex ! the young handsome engineer caro replied.

Jane asked is it the one sitting close to Mr Walter so you now know their names, caro said smiling at Jane.

“Jane asked why the smiles?

I know Mr water, so who is that young man?.

I don't really know him so well, but he is every woman's dream man, rich and generous caro replied.

The next morning Jane was on a road walk. After some minutes she got tired and decided to sit somewhere along the roadside.

she remembered her relationship with Kelvin and she started crying.

Alex was driving slowly and saw a lady sitting beside the road crying he stopped.

“Hello young lady, what are you doing here all alone?”

Jane told him about his past relationship with Kelvin.

Alex consoled her and promised to make her happy ever.

Jane gave her phone number, and Alex saves the number and they walk straight to his car.

“Caro and Jane were together playing ludo game, Jane told Caro what inspired between her and Alex yesterday.”

That she is already in love with him.

Caro say please look very well because all this rich handsome guys I don't trust them.

Jane said my own Alex is different.

“Caro replied, no problem if you said so but just be careful this time”.

Because I don't want your heart to be broken again, as an engineer our job is always mobile caro said.

“Jane phone rang it was Alex,”

Hello beautiful, where are you?

Jane replied with a friend of mine.

Will be on my way shortly, Alex replied.

After some minutes Alex arrived.

Meet Caro my friend, Jane said.

Alex shake hand with her and ask have we met before?

Caro replied yes in your company I am one of the internship students .

Okey that nice Alex said.

“Jane was overwhelmed because since Kelvin broke up with her she has not been in this mood for a long time"

“Alex brought out a ring and proposed to Jane, after a week they got married”

But Jane never knew that Alex and Caro are having an affair"

Six weeks later Jane became sick and decided to run a pregnancy test the result came out positive.

“Due to his mobile job he rented a house for Jane"

Sandra and Gift was not surprise with Jane story because is similar to theirs.

Jane asked the ladies so are mine the victim here, as far as i'm concerned Alex is the father of my unborn child Jane said.

Sandra looks at her and victim or no victim you are stupid.

As you can see Alex has lost his job, so the gold you came to dig has finished so pick up your bag and leave as I am talking to you ladies.

Alex is not in his normal sense anymore Sandra said.

Jane said am not going anywhere.

"Whether he lost his job or not, I will stay till i deliver my child"

By the way, where will I get a job with my condition as a pregnant woman?

I also lost my job immediately when I discovered that I was pregnant.

I also resigned from my work but if Alex will leave both of you and concentrate on me alone, with my medical certificate I will fetch myself a good paying job as a doctor and take care of myself.

Sandra turned to Jane, see hanty victim you do not belong here.

By the way, am not even sure my husband Alex is responsible for that pregnancy.

Who knows, if is not prostitution you are doing in the camp with all this soldiers.

At night Sandra was just alone outside crying, she now remembers the incidents that happened after her wedding with Alex.

Alex left to answer the job calls from Mr Walter, and had an accident with his colleague David

“But David never makes it in the hospital; he died while receiving treatment. So the trauma of his death shocked Alex to an extent he started having lost of memories and can't remember things very well.”

So when Sandra waited for her husband to call, she decided to call but Alex wasn't picking up. She became worried and wondered what could have happened to him.

Mr. Walter is the office.

Come in he said aah Mrs Alex how are you?,

“ sorry I did not make it to your wedding"

Good morning sir please since yesterday my husband left the house after answering a call from you, till now has not call or pick his calls am so worried sir.

Mr. Walter, am sorry madam but am sure Alex is in good hands .

But after 48 hours if we did not hear from him I would have to report to the police about a missing person.

Sandra pause for a moment.

Please sir 48 hours is much can't it be today because am no longer comfortable, my mind is telling me something bad has happened to him Alex I know will not stay this long without hearing from me.

Mr. Walter asked Sandra to calm down promising he will do something about it.

Sonia was in Sandra's sitting room watching television, when Sandra came out with a big bag.

“Sandra where are you going?“

Sandra said to look for my husband Alex.

I can't be sitting here waiting for a miracle to happen can't you see.

Calm down Sandra, nothing bad has happened to him, he's fine wherever he is right now.

So far his MD Mr. Walter asked to calm down just be calm let watch what happens next.
