All roads lead to Maria

Chapter 7

While Maria’s identity was well hidden, Chloe’s was not, so about half of the members knew who she was. Those who had seen Maria with Chloe were told she was just her roommate. After Maria told Chloe everything, she was more at ease and stopped crying. With an affirmative nod from Chloe, Maria walked to answer the door.

Chloe came to the door and stood next to Maria as she opened it. It was the chairmen of the group, ( Olivia, Hayden, and Marcus). “What are you doing here?” asked Chloe.” They stepped inside and the door was shut. Hayden began to explain” The boss messaged us to come here, and said that she wanted to talk. She also mentioned that her real identity is your roommate Maria.” “ f**k, Chloe you didn't do this did you?” asked Maria. Chloe shook her head no.

Maria and Chloe exchanged looks and knew that it had to have been Samantha. Oliva said,” Well it's no surprise to me, I already had my suspicions that you were the boss.” Olivia then thought to herself,” I just wonder why she decided to tell us, I guess it was about time.” Marcus started talking about the preparations he had made following Maria’s plan and shared his two backup plans. Maria agreed. Marcus was a very smart, and serious individual, who at strange times managed to find a sense of humor. They all talked everything over for about an hour. It was now midnight and time to go. Oliva left on her scooter, and Maria,

Chloe, Marcus, and Hayden got in a car. This car was a dark green, old square-body car, that belonged to Maria. Maria began to drive to group b’s location ?,which she had memorized from the tracker. She turned on the radio, which began to play alternative rock. Other than the radio, no one said anything the whole ride.Approaching a destination, Maria parked the car in a dark alley, Where it’s location could easily be remembered, and could not be easily found. After a quick phone call fighting Squad 1 arrived followed by Squad 2. And parked in an ally following Marcus’s plan sat Squad 5 which was in charge of surveillance, and gathered any information that they could use for blackmail, and if all fails present in court. Chloe batted her eyes, signaling all was ready.

Maria gave the order and a bomb had blown up in the lot in front of the group b’s warehouse. They ran to the back entrance, and Chloe peeked through the door c***k. No one was guarding the door, there were only three men, and the group b’s leader remaining. They bust the door open with Squad 2 following behind them. They walked inside armed, and Maria spoke loudly

“ Where is Tristen?!!!”. There was silence. The four individuals stood entirely still as if they were statues. Everyone stood there, some were ready to fight at Maria’s command, while others stood puzzled. Maria walked closer only to bump into a sheet of paper, against a brick wall. “ What the hell?!”

Maria said in an aggressive but confused tone. She began to rip off the paper in rage. “ It's all paper I -it's 3d, half the building, even the group b’s leader.”, Chloe said in disbelief.

Wait, then where's Tristen?! , said Hayden.

Just as that was articulated the whole building caught on fire.
