All roads lead to Maria

Chapter 6

Chloe felt like she was going insane. As blood dripped down her body she panted and wept unable to think anything else but “What the fuck.”. Yes, this phrase shrieked back and forth in her head. Was she utterly horrified, aghast, appealed, shocked, or terrified? No, she felt even worse than any of these words could even begin to describe.

She felt this way not because of her injuries, but because of how Maria acted towards her. What had she ever done to Maria to be treated this way? It was 8:00 pm, meanwhile, Samantha looked into the mirror and started talking to Maria through it.

“ (Samantha) Well-Well how did you like our little show?” “(Maria) You crazy b***h!! Shut the f**k up and give me my body back. I won't let you hurt Chloe!!!!!” “(Samantha) Oh, so that's what got you so pissed off, all I did was put her in her place.” After this statement, she jovially laughed. Maria was very distressed at this. She fought back screaming and banged her head on the mirror. Samantha urged her to stop but she didn't, so she did the same thing. They both broke the mirrors one mentally, one physically, and with that Maria regained control, and Samantha fell back inside their head. Without a second thought, Maria scampered to Chloe. She busted open the door and found Chloe covered in blood and tears, making a face she had never seen before. Chloe was silent and spaced out in shock. “ Are you okay Chloe?” asked Maria. “H-huh?!” whimpered Chloe as she dragged herself away, terrified and injured, “Maria!?!”. Chloe's eyes opened wider. “ Yes Chloe it’s me, I came to make sure you're alright.” Chloe belted out, passionately heartbroken “ What did I do to you to get treated this way?! I've always respected you and treated you like a true friend. I care about you so much.!

How could you ever think I can't be trusted?”!!!!! Maria hesitated thinking of what she could say. There was no way she could come up with anything that wouldn't make her look worse so she decided to tell the truth, and while Chloe was still hiding in the corner, when she finished explaining what happened the doorbell rang.
