Athena POV Moving over to Maxim swiftly, I lean in to tell him that I will be outside for a second. He looks at me worriedly, but nods anyway. I waste no time fleeing. I am not even glancing back at anyone. My breathing is ragged, and I feel my eyes misting beyond my control. Having bumped into the entire club on my way towards the back door, I finally seem to have made it. It was weird though, I thought I saw red eyes in the crowd somewhere. It must have been the reflection of the lights, combined with my own misty eyes. I step out the back door for some much needed fresh air. Well, as fresh as it gets here, that is.
