Flynn POV
“Want to go somewhere more private, baby?”. Random bimbo 1 speaks up after she pulls away from our kiss.
I look up to see if Athena is still watching, but she isn’t. Why does that bother me so much? I thought these random skanks could be dual purpose: 1) entertain me, and 2) make Athena jealous and have her come crawling back to me in the process. But neither one of those seem to be working. I feel miserable.
“No. Get off”. I snap, practically throwing them both off me.
“Dude, what the hell?”. My best friend Pete speaks up, concern coating his voice. “I have never seen you like this. What’s wrong?”.
That is a damn good question. What is wrong with me? Why can’t I continue my life like I used to? Why do I keep feeling like s**t? And why does my mind keep going back to Athena?
