Coming into the Emergency room with a sports star really has its perks. I mean the entire E.R. was jam packed with people who ranged from some with the sniffles to a broken arm. I'm sure some hypochondriacs too. I was seen within the first 10 minutes of being there and Anthony didn't even bother to leave my side. Told the doctor what could have possibly happened and gave him a play by play of my, very unladylike night. Doc didn't look like he cared much. Just asked us to sit tight and he'd put in an order for imaging right away. "How are you feeling there tiger?" "Oh god don't call me that. Sounds like I'm a child waiting for her parents to come pick her up after fighting at school." I groaned, making myself more comfortable on the hospital bed. "Well I mean would you like me to call your parents? I don't know how I'd explain who I was all things considered I still don't actually know you. Like 'oh hi Mr. and Mrs... "The house we lived in caught fire. My mom and dad were home while I was with my nana. I was 10 when it happened and it was definitely hard to over come but I make due. Nothing to be sad over. It won't bring them back you know. I had my nana and she was and is an amazing woman. If you think I'm a spitfire you should get to know her. She is brutal." That seemed to lighten his mood some. He grabbed my uninjured hand and gave it a squeeze in reassurance. "Alright Ms. Mills we are all set for you, hop into my wheel chair so we can get some pretty pictures of that hand of yours. If you do well I'll make sure to find you a lollipop." The Tech rounded the bed with a chuckle to help me into the chair. "Don't miss me while I'm gone" I teased as I was rolled away. I caught the slight smirk on Anthony's face as I decended
