“It was girl,” Atlas murmured, his grip on the steering tightening as he sped down the road. I didn’t speak. “I mean the baby,” His eyes met mine through the driver’s mirror. “Raina, baby.” I averted my gaze, holding my breath as I drowned in the silence. “Where are you taking me?” “Home.” Our eyes locked. “You don’t even know where my home is, Atlas.” I retorted and watched as his grip on the steering tightened, there was a flicker in his blue eyes before he sighed. The silence reigned for a while, maybe a few minutes and hours, I watched as the streets blurred together, with no destination in mind even though he was driving. I parted my lips to ask for a location but the car pulled to a halt. Atlas’ forehead creased, his knuckles had turned white, small puffs of air escape
