EP7. Failed Plan

EP7. Failed Plan Half an hour later. After finishing breakfast, Chris walked Marina up to his bedroom, a place he never easily allowed anyone else to enter. He warned her, half threatening, to behave herself. If she dared to try any more stunts, he'd be back to deal with her for sure. But would someone like Marina listen to him? A person who never gave up easily, she was constantly thinking of what to do next. She wouldn't stay his concubine forever, and she didn't know when he would let her go. So, every time she had a chance, Marina would never stay still. Even if her attempts failed, it was better than doing nothing at all. Knock, knock, knock! Marina knocked on the door from inside the room, hoping the person guarding her outside would hear. He himself had told her that if she wanted anything, she could knock to call his subordinate. And now Marina had figured out how she was going to escape this place. "What do you need, Khun Marina?" Chalee opened the door immediately upon hearing the knock. Today, he hadn't followed his boss out because he was ordered to stay and guard her here. "Please go get Tina for me." This was the only way Marina could see. She knew that Chris's concubine strongly disliked her. It was understandable, as he paid no attention to Tina, focusing only on Marina. It would be strange if that woman liked her. Why wouldn't Marina know what Tina was thinking? She saw this opportunity and decided to use it to her advantage. Being a clever person, Marina wanted her enemy, who hated her so much, to help her escape this place. Tina would surely be more than happy to get rid of her as she wished. "Why do you want me to get Tina?" Chalee frowned. He saw that that woman didn't like Marina one bit, so why would Marina want to meet someone who disliked her? "Uh, well... I have some... girl talk to ask Tina. If I talk to you, it wouldn't make as much sense as talking to another woman, right?" Marina acted so well that Chalee couldn't detect any suspicion. Ten minutes later. "Why did you call me here?" Upon entering the room she rarely ever set foot in, Tina spoke with pursed lips and her chin raised, in her usual style. Marina looked at her, secretly annoyed. If it weren't for urgent business, did she think Marina wanted to talk to her? What an incredibly arrogant person! "I need your help with something." The young woman didn't want to waste time. She didn't have much of it, as she didn't know when Chalee would return, and more importantly, she didn't think she could stand seeing this woman's face for much longer, because Marina didn't like Tina either! "What is it?" Tina looked at Marina with an incomprehensible and very unfriendly gaze. "You want to get rid of me from here, right? Then help me." Tina was silent. She narrowed her eyes, pondering something. Since Marina offered it like this, how could she not help? She herself was dying to cuddle with Chris. If Marina wasn't here, that duty would surely fall to her. "How can I help?" This was probably the first time Tina had spoken nicely to the person in front of her. "Can I borrow your phone? I'll email my brother to come help me here." Even though she didn't want her family to know, Marina couldn't see a better solution. She decided to write an email to her eldest brother, Martinez Mus, an influential mafia boss in Thailand. Since they were in different countries, communication seemed difficult. And with him confiscating her phone, it made everything even harder. Marina could somewhat remember her brother's email address. This way would probably be the fastest. "Fine. I hope your brother can help you get out!" Even though she willingly handed over the phone that had been stolen from her, Tina didn't forget to bare her teeth at Marina first. "Thank you." Marina said before quickly sending an email to Martinez. With all her hope, she wished her brother would know and come help her escape this hellish island as quickly as possible! God, please have mercy on her... Not long after everything was done, Marina walked Tina to the room door, wanting to prevent Chalee from suspecting what she was doing and to make it seem like the two of them were genuinely having girl talk. "Thank you so much, Tina. I feel much better now." Marina feigned saying. "You're welcome. You should rest now." Chalee was quite surprised to see the two girls talking nicely to each other, as if they had never hated each other before. And Tina seemed to be in a very good mood after walking out. "I think you look strange?" "Why? Just because I'm smiling, I look strange? You're crazy." Tina stopped smiling, then turned to snap at Chalee before raising her chin and stomping down the stairs. "Who's really crazy! That lunatic!" He said after her before sitting down to guard Marina's room as before. On the Other Side, in the City Chris sat waiting for an important person he had arranged to meet for business negotiations inside a famous restaurant's VVVIP room, with his usual calm expression. Chris's profession was an intermediary in arms dealing for mafias worldwide. If anyone needed high-quality weapons at a good price, he was ready to export those weapons to everyone. And of course, he wasn't the only one doing this profession; there were many other mafia families doing it. But since his warehouse was bombed yesterday, Chris needed to find new stock to replace the damaged old one. The new business partner he had arranged to meet today was Jimmy Marshall, a mafia boss from Thailand with interesting information that made him want to agree to a deal. Hence, the meeting today. "Hello, Khun Chris." Soon after, Jimmy opened the door. Since he flew directly from Australia, he was a little late today. "Hello, Khun Jimmy. Please have a seat." "Thank you." Jimmy smiled in response before sitting down and politely taking a sip of water. "I want the goods as quickly as possible. How much do you have?" Chris didn't let time be wasted, as he kept thinking about Marina's soft body, which he had cuddled with all night. And besides, he didn't trust leaving her alone for long because Marina was more mischievous than he thought. "I'm afraid we might not have enough for the quantity you need. But if you really want it, Khun Chris, I can find more for you. We know another mafia family, but they are quite hard to find. But it shouldn't be beyond my friend's ability." Jimmy was referring to the Mus family mafia, who were quite famous, no less than them. But in their case, the gang leader, Martinez, was quite elusive. However, he guaranteed that their goods were very good, no less than theirs. "If you can find it for me, I'll give you a good price." "I guarantee you'll get good goods." The two men continued to talk for a while longer, then went their separate ways. As soon as he got into his luxurious car, Chris immediately ordered his subordinate to take him back to his private island. On the Way Back to the Car Marina's phone, which Chris had taken from the mansion, rang with an incoming call. The young man picked it up and found that someone was indeed calling her. 'My first bro'. Chris read the name with surprise. 'First brother?' Really? When he thought about it, he still hadn't received Marina's background information that he had ordered Chalee to investigate. He didn't know how far along it was. He'd ask later. The young man let her phone ring until it stopped. He chose not to answer, but the sound of another incoming message forced the young mafia boss to pick it up and open it. Martinez: 'Rina, how are you? Are you well? I received a strange email from someone saying you were kidnapped to an island. If you don't reply to this message, I'll rush to help. But if you're well, please tell me so I can rest assured that you're okay.' Chris immediately felt uneasy upon reading the entire message. The young man quickly dialed his trusted subordinate. 'Hello, boss.' "How's Marina? Has she done anything strange today?" He had to ask this because he wanted to know what else Marina could do. He had gone to such lengths to confine her, and she could still find a way to tell her brother? Or did Charles tell him? But if Charles had told him, her brother wouldn't have texted to ask, right? They would have stormed his island from the start. "She's normal, sir. Uh, but there was one strange thing." Chalee paused, thinking. It was quite strange for him that Marina had asked Tina to come up and meet her. "What?" "Khun Marina asked Khun Tina to come meet her, saying they had some girl talk." Chris immediately understood what Marina's small brain was planning. Or perhaps she had already done it. She was going to be punished when he got home, that little devil! "Guard her. Don't let Marina talk to anyone else, absolutely. I'm coming back." "Yes, boss." After hanging up, Chris picked up Marina's phone again. He then replied to the message her brother had sent, pretending to be her. He told him that she was fine, and that the kidnapping was a misunderstanding. The young man smirked with satisfaction, knowing he held the upper hand over an inexperienced little bird like her. When he got back, he would press her until his desire was satisfied, just wait and see!
