EP4. Nowhere to Go
Marina was dragged downstairs by Christian, wearing only an oversized shirt. Seeing this, Charles clenched his jaw. He shouldn't have let that sneak attack dog find out his weakness! If anything happened to Marina, he wouldn't let that bastard go easily!
"What's up, my dear friend Charles? What brings you here?" Christian asked with a mocking, irritating expression, which only made Charles angrier.
"What do you want? Why did you take Rina?" Charles knew that breaking in here didn't mean he could do whatever he wanted. No matter how much he wanted to help Marina, this was Christian's territory. Even if they fought, he would lose!
"What I want..." Christian said, then looked at the person beside him, implying that what he wanted was her. "Probably your wife, huh!" He chuckled softly. This action made Marina purse her lips tightly. Even though they had only met for a day, he made her feel an incredible amount of hatred!
"You bastard, Chris! You!"
"Ah, ah. Think carefully before you do anything here. I have more men than you!" Christian smiled gleefully at his satisfaction. Just seeing him squirming now, that's what he wanted. But this wasn't enough for a villain like him!
"What do you want me to do in exchange for Rina? Just tell me!" Charles clenched his fists. Just seeing Marina's eyes well up with tears, he could barely stand it. He had fallen in love with this woman at first sight and was very serious about her because Marina wasn't like other women. He had carefully cherished her and slowly courted her bit by bit to show her he wasn't joking. But suddenly, this scoundrel appeared out of nowhere and snatched his heart away!
"Nothing!"
"Chris!" Chalee quickly stepped in to stop Charles, who was about to rush at Christian.
"Oh, there is one thing I want you to do. Bow down to me! Come on, would you bow down to me for this woman?" Christian said with a sneer. Charles was furious at his enemy's words. He wanted him to bow down to him! Insane!
"Why should I bow down to you?!" The questioner was in a lot of distress. He wanted to help Marina, but it seemed it wouldn't be as easy as he thought.
"Because if you don't bow down, this woman will be mine. She seems to be a virgin too. You really picked the right one." Christian turned and smiled at the person next to him, who was looking at him with extreme hatred. But he didn't care because he had already marked her as his!
"You're such a bastard, Chris! You can't do anything to me, so you use women as tools?" This time, it was Charles who smirked mockingly at him!
"This is still too little, Charles. If you call me a bastard, what should I call you? A super bastard? Don't you remember what you did to my sister?" Charles furrowed his brows. He didn't even understand what Christian was talking about. Did he have a sister? He had never known that. What nonsense was he talking about? He didn't know anything about it.
"What the hell are you talking about!"
"You probably don't remember, do you? Then you can go home today. Go back and recall the horrible things you did. And don't show your face here again. I don't welcome you! If I see your face here again, I'll order my men to shoot your head off!" Christian sent him away. No matter how much he hated the man in front of him, he didn't want him to die now! He wanted him to live and suffer the agony of seeing him take the person he loved away from him!
"Charles..." Marina, who had been silent for a long time, called out to Charles as Christian was about to pull her back into the mansion.
"I promise I'll get you out!" Charles shouted after the woman he loved, bitterly. Marina heard him and tears immediately streamed down her cheeks, realizing that Charles could no longer help her.
Bang!
The sound of the room door closing. Marina stood watching the tall man drag her back into the room with a calm expression. The broken lamp shards on the floor hadn't been cleaned up, even though the bloodstains on his thick eyebrow had begun to dry.
"I'm going to take a shower. Bring the first aid kit that's on the window and clean my wound." Marina felt a slight relief when she saw that he was speaking kindly to her and it seemed he wouldn't force her anymore. After the woman nodded, Christian took off his clothes right there. He didn't care if she saw his hanging private parts.
"Ah! Why don't you go take it off in the bathroom?" She turned her face away before asking irritably. Didn't he know the meaning of 'shame'?
"This is my room. I can take it off wherever I want. Hurry and come in. You know what happens if you disobey me, right?"
"Hmm." When he received a satisfactory answer, the tall man smirked at the person who was standing with her back to him, not wanting to see him naked, before disappearing into the bathroom immediately.
When the bathroom door closed, Marina quickly ran to the large window. The woman looked at Charles's boat floating in the middle of the sea with mixed feelings. At first, she thought he would surely help her escape this crazy island, but his answer made her feel disappointed.
"Should I be glad that I never loved him?" The small woman said to herself. Even though she didn't feel anything for him, she was still disappointed. If she had loved him, wouldn't she be in excruciating pain? Marina couldn't think of a way to get out of here. If he had his men search the room for Tina's phone, he would have found it already.
After thinking about it, Marina decided to stop. There was one more way she hadn't tried: talking to Christian nicely. Even though he was a maniac, he once had a sister. He should have some empathy for his fellow human beings, right?
With that thought, her delicate hand picked up the first aid kit before walking into the bathroom to clean his wound. In fact, she felt a little guilty for making his head bleed...
Inside the Bathroom
The burly man's naked body lay comfortably in the white bathtub. Even though his eyebrow hurt a little, a small wound like this couldn't do anything to a thick-skinned person like him. He had been through worse pain.
Marina, who had just walked in, jumped when she saw him lying naked in the clear water. How could she clean his wound like this? Her small heart pounded like a drum. The woman suddenly remembered what had happened earlier. The image of him assaulting her flashed back into her mind, making her feel embarrassed again.
"Are you going to stand there much longer? Come and clean my wound quickly." He turned and urged her when he saw that she didn't dare to walk in.
"Uh, yes." After saying that, Marina walked over and sat near the tub he was soaking in, then quickly turned her head to meet his eyes. Where else could she look? If she looked down, she would probably see his giant dragon.
The woman tried to compose herself before picking up a bottle of alcohol and pouring it onto a cotton ball to clean his wound.
"Why don't you like him? Charles, I mean." He suddenly wanted to know her reason. Marina was a woman who was quite hard to read. She rarely showed her feelings. If it were any other woman, she wouldn't have gone to such lengths to hurt him. She would have succumbed from the beginning.
"I just don't like him. No reason." She replied, trying to concentrate as much as possible, because the way he was staring at her made her lose focus. Why did she have to feel nervous because of his handsome face? Marina secretly thought that if he hadn't kidnapped her and hurt her feelings like this, she might have liked him. But now it was probably too late.
"So, what are we going to do now? He ran back home. Do you see now that a man like him never truly loves anyone?" Marina heard him but didn't pay attention. She couldn't understand why he would say such a thing. The woman used the red antiseptic on the cotton swab and pressed it onto his wound immediately. Luckily, his head wasn't split open; it was just a small injury.
"Ow! That stings." It seemed she intentionally made him hurt. She was much more feisty than he thought. Damn it. But the closer he got, the more he learned about her personality, the more he didn't want to let her go easily. He wanted to conquer her stubborn demeanor. It would be fun.
"Good. So you can stop talking. Then I'll ask you, how long will you keep me here?" The gauze was picked up and placed in her hand before Marina stopped everything. She stared back at him, hoping for an answer.
"Don't ask. I don't have an answer for you. Continue. When you're done, we can take a shower together." Christian changed the subject. He smiled, inviting her to join him in the tub. His 'son' was currently erect and waiting for her underwater. The more he knew that the person beside him had never been with a man, the more Christian wanted her. How did he know, you ask? It was probably when he inserted his finger inside her and found that her passage was very narrow, as if no one had ever been in there, and she didn't even know how to kiss.
"Huh... Go shower by yourself, you idiot." Whoosh! Marina, upon hearing that, immediately realized that he hadn't given up on his evil plans. The woman intended to get up and walk out of the bathroom, but how could she be faster than him? She hadn't even stood up yet when his strong hand grabbed her neck, making her turn to receive his kiss obediently.
"Mmm..."
