Of course he'd be happy to represent you. But I'll report the two of you to the Werewolf Council. I'll tell them he's been in love with you for years—that's an undeniable conflict of interest. No way they'll let him serve as your attorney." I tightened my hands into fists at my sides. "Damien, don't go too far!" "See? This is who I really am," Damien said.
