I remembered the story Balin told on our first evening on the road. "Azog?!" Thorin said when he saw his Enemy sitting on his white warg. "It cannot be," he added angrily and in rage. The Wargs jumped up the tree making them shake making us barely holding on to the tree. It seems the luck wasn't on our side since we also struggled to stay on the trees while the wargs made them fall, so we jumped from tree to tree until we were sitting on the last one way to close to the cliff underneath us. Suddenly a pinecone flew down from above me, while I followed it with my eyes I saw it was on fire. Gandalf had set it on fire with his staff, soon after we all threw Pinecoons at the wargs which made them flame up or run away in fear making us all cheer when I noticed that I got thrown behind almost losing my grip to the tree. I knew to scream didn't help so I tightened my grip around the log. The tree unrooted making it hang over the cliff, while I was lucky near the stomp some hung down from the tree way over the cliff. I noticed Thorin who got up from his place next to me with his sword drawn ready to strike against Azog. "Thorin please don't," I begged but Thorin released my hand I grabbed to hold him back. "Thorin," I yelled while I had tears in my eyes. The next Minutes were the worst since I met this beautiful group of people. Thorin fought against Azog and his wargs but they were stronger throwing Thorin down several times. "Nooo!" Balin and I yelled in pain. Bilbo who was near me climbed up from his place standing on the log of the tree. "Bilbo, don't go, you'll get in danger," I said. "I'm gonna safe Thorin," Bilbo told me but I knew he won't survive it. Fili who was a bit behind me, climbed up, as he passed me he held his hand out. I smiled and took it, Kili and Dwalin joined us and together we ran towards the Wargs surprising them fighting while I tried to reach Bilbo and Thorin but every time a warg crossed me making me fall back. All of a sudden a warg fell down in front of me and when I raised my head I saw an eagle flying over us grabbing another warg tossing it over the edge of the cliff. More came tossing trees over hitting wargs. One of the eagles gently flew down grabbing Thorin with his talons, while he flew off I watched it getting smaller and smaller in the distance. "Thorin," I screamed but I knew he wouldn't hear me. Something grabbed me, I tried to free myself but the eagle's grip was tight, al of the sudden the eagle released me making me scream for my life thinking that he is trying to kill me but I landed safely on the back of an eagle. I looked around and saw that Thorin wasn't far away from me still in the talons of the eagle, "Thorin!" Fili shouted for his Uncle but he was unconscious. We flew for a long while, I was sleepy, so I carefully laid my head on the back of the Eagles head and closed my eyes for a minute or two. A Noice woke me up, as I looked I saw that we had landed on a huge Rock formation above a Forest nearby. "Thorin! Thorin." Gandalf yelled he had dismounted the eagle he flew off for him to walk toward my whatever this is between us. Slowly I walked passed the other dwarfs, and gently sat myself next to my carefully touching his Hand. "Thorin, please dont leave me." I said sniffing." I whispered. "Move aside Please Nessa." the wzard said next to, so I got up and moved towards Balin still crying. "He will be OK Dear, Gandalf is with him." Balin said, he gave me a hug to comforting me. "The halfling?" I heard sombody say, I realised it was Thorin. "Thorin." I whispered looking fof him. "It's all right. Bilbo is here. He's quite safe." Gandalf replied, "Thorin." I said a bit louder. "Nessa, where is she, is she OK?" I heard Thorin ask. "Im here Thorin." I said moving forwards, he got up suported by Dwalin and Fili when he saw Bilbo standing there. "You! What were you doing? You nearly got yourself killed! Did I not say that you would be a burden? That you would not survive in the wild and that you had no place amongst us?" Thorin said angryly. "I've never been so wrong in all my life!" he added before he grabbed Bilbo and embraced him deeply. "I am sorry I doubted you." Thorin said when he saw me he streched his hand out, I took it making him pull me closer. "No, I would have doubted me too. I'm not a hero or a warrior...not even a burglar." Bilbo said making me chuckle, we watched the Eagles fly away. "Is that what I think it is?" Bilbo asked looking at something in the distance. "Erebor, The Lonely Mountain. The last of the great dwarf kingdoms of Middle-earth." Gandalf replied. "Our home." Thorin said proud, it made me smile. A Bird flew by, with my elvensight I saw that the bird was a thrush. "A raven! The birds are returning to the mountain." Oin said pointing at the Thrush. "That, my dear Oin, is a thrush." Gandalf replied. "But we'll take it as a sign a good omen." Thorin said with a smile towards the Hobbit, I searched for Thorins Hand, when I found it I carefully slipped mine into his, so we stood there for a while just looking at the Mountain. "You're right. I do believe the worst is behind us." Bilbo said.
