Chapter three: The meeting

Aria's Pov

I quickly prepared for work

I was late as I was awake going through the plan for LM

I needed the meeting to be perfect

I heard the owner was a perfectionist

I didn’t need someone giving me a difficult time and I was very satisfied with the plan I came up with

There was no way he would refuse our plan

I take Liam to school which even delays me further

I would have preferred a driver but since I was busy with work and he was busy with school,driving and picking him up from school was the only time we had to bond

I promised to make it up to him this weekend though

The office was buzzing as I arrived

We all sit down but I was lost somewhere but as soon as my team presented the plan I regained focus and entered CEO mode

I needed to be professional

I wanted him to see that I was no longer the girl he knew back then and that I was better off without him

The meeting ran for a while and I felt his gaze every time lingering on my face

I tried my best not to look at him and as the staring contest went on the meeting came to an end or so I thought

Damian rejected the plan and asked for a revised one

And after much hassle we had to come up with something else

“Just redo it,I am sure he will accept the next one” Ethan reassures me
