Aria's Pov
As I stood in front of the airport I closed my eyes and inhaled the familiar air of New York City it was different from Chicago
It was what I needed,to be home
My mind goes back years
Memories I chose to bury deep inside
My attention is called back by a tug on my clothes
I peered down at the little one looking up at me curiously
“Mommy you are lost in thoughts again”he says
I bend down to his level our heights and kiss him on the cheeks
“You smarty pants,since when did you start teasing mommy”
“Since mommy decided to forget me by staring at space”he says with a cute expression
I let out a huge laugh
My baby was so cute

He always knew how to make me smile
And how to lighten up my mood
Years in Chicago became bearable because I had him with me
He gave me the will to move on,the will to be stronger, and because of him, I became confident,richer and definitely more determined to succeed more.

It was small but growing at a rapid pace
I came back to New York since I finally had an office after years of working from home just to take better care of my baby
He was practically all I had now and I couldn’t afford to lose him
We boarded a car that I booked and rode towards our new home
I bought a house in a quiet area because Liam has a problem with too many people around
He has always been like that since he was born
He didn’t like strangers at all
He is a cheerful boy but only to those he knows very well
I also needed the quiet environment so that I could focus more on work while at home
On getting there ,my baby was already asleep and with the help of the driver everything was carried into the house as I carried my baby to bed
Tomorrow was going to be a long day as I had work and he had school
I was reluctant to let him go the next day
Standing in front of his school gate I refused to let go of his hand
“Mommy you are going to have to let me go, I will be late”he says
“You are still a child,what do you know about being late?”I ask
He grinned,” A lot actually, don’t you want me to study and become rich so that I can take care of you in the future?”
I bend down and give him a kiss” Your mommy is very rich so just focus on being your age for now. You are too smart for your own good”
“Should I be dumb instead?”he asked
I burst into laughter “No.Run along you don’t want to be late”
He kisses my cheeks and runs into the school gate and as I watch him series of emotions runs through my head

I reached my office and met with Ethan,my business partner
Ethan was there to invest and help me as I began my company
He brought in clients and also did a lot for the company
I owed him a lot
“You are late,Miss CEO” he teased
“Duhhh…I am the boss and I can go and come as I please” I reply.
“What are you doing here by the way?”I ask
“Nothing much, I just came to hand you a new contract. This one is huge,if you take it, your name will be everywhere, Aria.”
“What company?”
“LM”
“Wow, it really is huge. Who runs the company, by the way?”
“It wasn’t mentioned,last I heard the owner likes to keep a low profile”
“Mysterious I guess.”
“You will see them on the meeting day,just go through the contract and sign it, then the meeting will be scheduled.”he said as he handed over the contract to me.
He left the office as my secretary entered with a cup of coffee
“What do you know about the LM group?” I ask Maggie, my personal assistant and secretary.
“Just that they have a good reputation and their CEO is low profile. No one knows him and what he looks like but a deal with them won’t be a bad idea”she says
“Alright then,just inform the team of a meeting after I go through the contract so that we can come up with a plan for their designs before we schedule a meeting”
“Yes, boss”, she says cheerfully and leaves.
As I go through the contract, I realise that their terms were great and I was going to benefit well from it.
I quickly signed it and after a meeting with my team,a meeting was scheduled with LM.
