Josie didn't say a word but gave Alva a subtle look.
Alva immediately understood what Josie meant.
Taking advantage of Evan's momentary distraction, Alva quickly put on his headset and pretended to be deeply engrossed in a phone call. He casually walked past the two of them, looking entirely unbothered.
"Boss, this is on me. I wasn't careful enough, and Mr. Edward stole the spotlight. He even overheard what I just said! He's the one who snatched the royal coronation crown you were eyeing! Don't be upset. Let's just let it go for now! It's not like Master Sheena's masterpieces are limited to just this one. We can always look for something else!"
After saying this, Alva pretended to hang up the call and headed straight toward the elevator.
