Evan frowned deeply as Ella suddenly appeared before him. "What's wrong with you? You failed your classes, and now you're skipping them too?"
Ella ran over to Josie with a cheerful smile, looping her arm through Josie's as if thrilled. "Josie! You're a student at our academy? How come I've never seen you before?"
Josie looked at Ella's sudden change in demeanor, feeling puzzled but still smiling politely. "I spent my final year interning off-campus, so it's normal you didn't see me around."
"Oh, I see!" Ella held onto Josie's arm, then turned to Evan. "Evan, I don't have classes this afternoon. How about I take Josie shopping to celebrate her graduation? You don't mind, right?"
Josie glanced at Ella, finding her strange and a little unsettling. 'What is she plotting this time?'
