chapter 4

"THEIA! oh my God, what is the meaning of this, you're really going to be the death of me, get your a** over here now!". kyla screamed at the top of her lungs burning with rage!.

"ugh!.....".mama what is it, why are you screaming I'm Trying to sleep isn't it too early for this". Theia said rolling over on the mat.

"Theia don't let me come over there,get your lazy butt here. NOW!!".Kyla said feeling the little bit of self control she had left snap.

"what does this woman want now". she thought in frustration.

Now don't get my wrong I love her but she's a handful.

"am coming". she said walking towards the kitchen.

"Yes,mama".she said.

raising her hand up in the air like in surrender.

"mama before you say anything,whatever you think I did, am innocent.

" you can't prove anything, I swear it wasn't me am just a victim".she said trying to look as pitiful as she sounded.

"What the hell happened to the fishes and antelope meat we were supposed to have for breakfast,don't you dare tell me you don't know anything kyla said surprisingly calm but theia knew it was just the calm before the storm.

"I ...um...you see....I ....how do I put this......I kinda ......". she stammered scratching the back of her head.

"Those aren't actual words, speak up before I smack you!".kyla yelled trying to contain her anger.

"well,when you here this you are gonna laugh". she said laughing nervously.

"THEIA!". kyla growled warningly.

before she could stop her self she blurted it all out.

"I burnt it. like all of it, I'm really sorry mama, I'll never go near the kitchen ever again. promise please,please,please don't be mad at me,please forgive me!. she said desperately pleading but Kyla turned her face away.

"OK,I forgive you".she said her words contradicting her action.

"BUT".

"sh*t so close" theia thought.

"you'll have to replace all the fishes you burnt".kyla said but Theia didn't want to.

Damn does fishes always avoided her like a plague, and kyla knew that so why was she sending her.

"mama how about I get the antelope instead.you know I hate fishing".this said desperately.

"I know that's why you'll do that instead".

Kayla said with a look of satisfaction on her face.

"Do it, or no antelope BBQ again, like ever".she said with finality.

"PLEASE!!!".theia said making a sad puppy face so as to gain sympathy.

"No, now get out of here,you have fishing to do".kyla said brushing her off.

and also wondering where their got this laziness from,was she not a good mother. or should she increase her training from intermediate to intensive.

For some one brought up in the woods,Theia is actually literate,well kula tried as much as possible to educate her.

she was once a pack teacher so it wasn't that hard.

At first theia refused to learn and would always sneak out of classes until she finally got the hint that kyla wouldn't give up so she sat her butt down and learned all she was taught.

she was actually pretty smart when it can to learning. her brain absorbed it like a sponge.

Theia finally left after much grumbling and complaining about how unfair her like is.

Taking a deep breath,smelling the early morning dew and wet trees.

It was the most comforting thing ever.

walking down the Narrow path, I could already see the river from afar, the rays of sunlight dancing on the stream illuminating the trees beside the river.

Being careful to avoid all the poisonous plants and insects she made her way over to it but something about today felt odd.

she could feel eyes on her but everytime she turned around to look no one was there.

WEIRD!.
