Alex could hear the commotion before he even got to the main room, and he knew it had to be Finn. He did love his Beta. Come hell or high water, no matter what was going on, Finn was always there to try and make people smile. The man was missing his own mate, who he had barely even been able to know, and yet he knew without seeing that the laughter was because of Finn.
Alex turned the corner and stopped, just standing there and staring at the sight before him.
Finn was in the midst of all those gathered round, some faces Alex knew and some that he did not.
