"This is my absolute favorite!” Jessica appeared beside me, grabbing my free hand. Her enthusiasm was infectious, eyes bright with excitement as the DJ transitioned into a song that made the crowd erupt in cheers. "Come on, everyone! We have to dance!"
I hesitated, glancing toward Zach again. He hadn't moved from his spot, seemingly lost in thought while staring at his phone. I hadn't spoken much since arriving at the club, tension still lingering from our argument earlier.
