Chapter 10When Kat opened her eyes in her other reality, she was lying on the floor. Her legs were tangled up in the sheets that had been pulled away from the bed. Zara stood over her, looking ready to cry. “Kat, oh my God,” she cried out. “Where are we?” Kat asked. “Are we back home?” “Oh baby,” Zara sobbed. “Oh no, it’s happening again. Come on.” Zara scooped her arms around Kat and lifted her back into their bed. She sniffled, cupping Kat’s face in her hands. By the horrified look on Zara’s face, Kat could tell something was seriously wrong. Her stomach sunk at the realization. “I just…had another seizure, didn’t I?” “Yes. You haven’t had one since the night we went to Duluth.” “Which was…?” “Three days ago.” Kat’s eyes widened. “So I have already had my doctor’s appointment?”
