Chapter 4Kat lifted her head off the couch cushion, a small bit of drool dripping from her chin. She looked out the glass windows into the city beneath, and realized she was still in the dream world. The last thing she remembered was finishing off a bottle of Skinny Girl Margarita and a plate of loaded nachos. She checked her phone and realized it was seven A.M. An entire day had passed.
“This is the longest dream I’ve ever had,” Kat said aloud to herself. She giggled, listening to her voice echo in the vastness of the space. The high vaulted ceilings provided excellent acoustics.
She stretched her arms over her head and tried to think about what to do next. She decided since she was here, she may as well check out her swanky job. After taking a quick shower and throwing on a new outfit,
