“OH, NO YOU DON’T!” roared Elijah, and jumped on my back, causing me to stumble slightly.

Once I was done dealing with Katie – aka, showing her to her new private quarters, aka, throwing her ass in a cell in the darkest, dampest corner of the dungeon – I’d gone looking for Selena. Only to find her room empty and her guards gone!
I mind-linked Elijah asking if she was with him since it still wasn’t safe for her to wander around on her own. Especially if the whole pack was actually stupid enough to think I’d taken Katie to be my mate after I’d told them several times that I hated the b***h – and she could burn in hell for all I cared.
