I watched the text I’d gotten from my mate and quickly texted her back, letting her know that I supported whatever she felt she needed to do to trust me again. No, I didn’t like that my mate was questioning her bodyguards, but I understood that for us to rebuild trust and have a future relationship, she needed confirmation that I was telling the truth.
