Then suddenly his eyes went wide as he took me in. And at that moment, I realized that this was the first time he saw the real me. I never slept with Stella’s magic talisman since I didn’t have anything to hide from her.
Which right now was buying me time...
“Ew,” he sneered with a disgusted grimace and recoiled as his eyes flickered downwards to my protruding stomach. “You’re pregnant?!”
