“So why are you here?”  Tucker asked as he looked over at CJ. “For Emily,”  CJ said pushing his hair out of his face, he wished he had his glasses.  Everything was too sharp and crisp, it was overwhelming and he could feel the dull ache starting behind his eyes.   “That complicates things.”  The wolf said, glancing forward at the worn path they were taking. “Tell me about it,”  he grumbled out as his bare foot sunk into a puddle. He shoved his hands into his pockets with a grimace he hated the way the mud had squished between his toes.  CJ pulled his foot out of the puddle and quickly made his way to where Tucker stood, waiting for him.   “How do you know Rose?”  Tucker asked as he crossed his arms over his muscular chest. “Her parent’s put her into court, hoping to find her a mate.
