Sofia pov: After having that argument with my mother a few days ago, Josh and Mark intervened and walked my mother out of the house. I finally broke down crying in Josh and Mark's arms. Flashback My whole life has been a lie.. it finally made sense why she hates me so much. They both told me it was fine, they won’t let her hurt me anymore. Mark said, "You need your mate, you need Damian right now." I said, "But he doesn't want to talk to me, he's probably thinking of how he's going to reject me." Josh said, "No, he's not going to reject you. He's actually scared that you're going to reject him. That's why he ran off." I reached out to my wolf, asking her what she thought. She said, "It's true, we need to go to Storm and Damian, the moon goddess won’t let us reject them so we need to work things out. I looked at Josh and said, "Take me to him." They took me directly to his penthouse and told me to just head in and knock. After standing there for a few minutes, I pressed the doorbell. He opened the door and was surprised to see me, he also looked scared, and asked me if I came to reject him. I made him understand I was here to talk. He looked worn out, like he hadn't slept or eaten in days. I hugged him tightly, and we both broke down crying. After a few minutes, he spoke. I told him how my mother finally admitted she's not my biological mother. Damian wasn't surprised; he said he'd always had suspicions. And he explained to me what happened between him and Beth and how the whole marriage thing came to be, i told him it was fine that we going to work through things and I also asked him if he had any other important information he was keeping from me, he said that was all and promised not to hide anything from me again. Present. The past two days have been interesting. Damian's been sweet, taking me on dates and showing me around. He's even taken me to his office. We talked about what I would like to study once I was done with high school. I told that I have always wanted to be a healer just like my grandmother. We are currently at the mall doing some shopping and I can tell you it is so fun spending my man’s money. We plan on going back to the pack tomorrow. We've finally decided to face the problem together. Especially when I asked him if he felt a connection to the pup Beth was carrying, and he said he didn't even bother to check, I said to him that regular wolves can't detect if the pup is there until the pup is born, but Alphas are different they can sniff their pup while they’re mother is still pregnant with them. He said, he knew that, but he just panicked. We agreed that we're going to go back to the pack tomorrow and find out if the pup truly belongs to him. He said he's kind of sure the pup belongs to him because he was Bethlehem's first, which was a bit surprising given the fact that she was acting a b***h. Suddenly everyone became quiet and people started bowing their heads. I looked at him, asking what's going on. He said, the royal prince is at the mall. For security reasons, everyone has to stop moving." King Klaus has always been protective of his remaining family after he lost so many years ago. I said, "I thought King Klaus doesn't have any more children, so which prince is this?" He said, "That's his nephew,Kealos. He just came back from human territory and he's here right now to shop." Just then, a very tall and handsome man walked into the mall. His eyes were an uncanny shade of green, eerily similar to mine. His chiseled features and strong jawline seemed to be carved from the same stone as mine, making me wonder if we shared a common ancestry. The silver streaks in his brown curly hair added a touch of regality to his already imposing presence. As he passed by, I caught a glimpse of his profile, and my heart skipped a beat. The shape of his nose, the curve of his eyebrows – it was as if I was staring into a mirror, but a masculine version of myself. His aura was making everybody bend their heads in submission. I couldn't get myself to bend my head in submission. His eyes met mine, and he looked at me for a few minutes before turning and heading in the other direction. I was really confused as to why I felt so much connection to him. It wasn't romantic attraction; it felt like a family bond, like a familiar bond. I couldn't explain it. I said to myself there was no way I was ever related to the royal family. After we were done getting everything, we headed back to the House to pack up and have dinner so we can rest and leave tomorrow Even though we kissed a few times, I didn't let him go any further and he understood. He said whenever I'm ready, he'll be ready. While we were having dinner, Damian's phone rang. I gave him a look, and he said, "Oh, my block is up, so no one can mind-link." He picked up the phone and said, "Hello, Mom." His mom sounded panicked and said, "Damian, you and Sofia need to come back to the pack ground immediately. Something really big has happened, something unexpected. The call ended abruptly, leaving us both concerned and confused Unknown pov: I hate being back. I hate coming back here, but I didn't really have much of a choice. It was an order from the king, and I didn't have much of a choice but to obey. Sitting down here, driving back to the royal pack, has really made me uncomfortable. We're passing by a mall, and I felt drawn to it, as if something was calling me inside. I told the driver to stop. I needed to go to the mall to pick up a few things – a gift for my father and something for my uncle. Because I left the human territory in a hurry, we have about four SUVs escorting us. That's how protective my uncle is, and I don't blame him. He has lost so much, and the few loved ones he has left, he protects them with everything he has. Before I came down from the car, the security had to sweep the area to make sure there was no threat. The door was opened, and I stepped out, entering the mall. Everybody was standing and bending their heads in submission – security protocol. Nobody moves when the Royals are around. But there was this particular girl who wasn't looking down. She had a striking resemblance to me – same black coils with stripes of silver, same eye color. It was as if I was staring into a mirror. Her features, her eyes, her hair – everything about her screamed "family". I felt a strong connection to her, and I couldn't help but wonder who she was. I felt drawn to her, and that resemblance gave her away. I couldn't help but wonder if she was exactly who I've been meaning to meet. After staring at her for a few minutes, I entered a jewelry store to get gifts for my uncle and father. After shopping, I came out of the mall and we started driving back to the royal pack. I couldn't help but think about the girl I saw at the mall. She had an uncanny resemblance to someone I knew, a face I hadn't seen in a very long time. I couldn't help but wonder if she was Rosa's daughter.
