Assurance

I was so happy that I’ve got something that can help to reduce the burden,so I left my room for the kitchen to drink my favorite juice that my mom prepares for me and a little water for later.

So on my way,I heard my mom and dad discussing about our financial issues even if it’s not my intention to eavesdrop but my feet refuses to move,so I listened to my father complaining about his failed attempts to get another job and how many bills had started piling up.

I had no choice but to interrupt their discussion,so I knocked on the door and when I was given the permission to enter,I did. My parent smiled at me.

Hey princess can’t sleep “asked my dad”,no dad I went out to get something well to drink some juice and get water

Oh ok! Come here dear,said my mom.so I went over and sat between them both

Mom,dad!!

They answered me both with hmm what baby

Everything is gonna be okay”I told them”

They smiled at me and said we know baby it’s just a matter of time.so I told them about the job I just got as a waitress. They were worried as I had total to no experience at all but I was about to assure them that I will do just fine and also Sarah works there so that was enough to convince them and also I have no choice.

The next day I woke up early thanks to my alarm,did my morning business,went straight to the kitchen to make something before my parent woke up after went to dress up took my small purse went back to the dining ate my portion,stick a note to the fridge telling them about their food and not to forget to take care and also reminding them that I’ve gone to work.

Moment I left home to the bus station,I called Sarah to wait for me outside the restaurant though not my first time going to meet her at her work place but this time, it my first time going there as an employee so I needed all the good energy to start my day and if I’m to say who got that to give me then that’s Sarah she’s the only one, sometimes I call her crazy but I love her nevertheless. So she promised to wait for me before leaving work as she just finished her shift.

And to those in the heavens,there was no line of traffic so I got there early.we exchanged greetings and hug,she wishing me success for the day and all the crazy jokes and we parted.

I went straight to the manager’s office after some directions and the manager instructed me on what to do and all,I started my shift,things was going well at work.My colleagues are nice,my best friend and the manager are there to direct me so no issues.
