The Supernatural Queen

Chapter 1

I haven’t been myself since my plane landed here last night. You know the feeling in your gut that something is wrong, but you also somehow feel excited. I know. I sound crazy. How can you be worried and excited at the same time? Anyway, my feelings can wait. I have work to do. OMG, I am so rude, I didn’t even introduce myself. I am Princess Eleanor Viktoria Andrea Mitchell Lancaster. Long and formal. I know. I am the future queen of the supernatural world. I am the first in my kind. Not supernatural, but one that is different. My mother is the werewolf alpha queen, my father is the Vampire king, and my paternal grandmother was a powerful witch. In my world there aren’t hybrids, children from inter species family inherit only the traits of one parent. And here is how I am different. I am a hybrid, well more of a trybrid. My parents knew that I would inherit only the throne to which I would belong, but I developed all the skills. And that is why we decided to unite the supernatural world when I will be ready to rule. 

When I was 5, my witch side was awakened. I am considered one of the most powerful witches to have ever lived. When I was 10, my wolf Angela was awakened. One more difference. Alphas get their wolfs at the age of 16, normal wolfs at 18. And here I am getting my wolf at 10. And that is not even everything. Angela is pure white, just like my maternal grandmother’s, which are very rare. There is legend that the pure white wolfs are protectors sent by the Moon Goddess herself, that they have some special abilities, such as being unaffected by silver or wolfsbane. At 16, I developed vampire speed, hearing, and strength. Later I developed my first gift. You heard that right, the first one, even though all the vampires have only one, I have many. My first gift is mind reading. By the time I ascended at the age of 21, I had also developed telekinesis and teleportation. On my 21st birthday I told my parents that I wanted to see the world and I had 100 years before my coronation anyway and so the last 99 years I spent traveling. I have visited nearly every pack, witch covens and vampire covens that there are. I left the most important ones for the end. Those are my late grandmother’s coven, and my partners’ kingdoms. And during this time, I developed more gifts. Healing, repairing, and instant kill.

Where was I, oh yes. I have been anxious since last night. I haven’t slept a lot and I feel tired, but somehow also excited. Well that’s enough feelings for one day, so I get out of bed and get ready. After I am done with my shower routine, I go to my suitcase and get an outfit for today. I put on a dark blue pair of jeans with a white blouse and white heels. I went back to the bathroom and dried my naturally wavy hair. I put some products to make it even shinier and did minimal makeup. Just some eyeliner, mascara, eyebrow gel and tinted lip balm. I pick up my bag and go out of my bedroom. I got the presidential suite at the hotel. Well, it is my hotel actually. I am the CEO of ELC. We have luxury hotel chain, restaurants, cafes, a luxury clothing company, shipping, solar energy, and so much more. ELC is the most known company in both human world and supernatural world, but not many know about me. I don’t like the attention too much, that is why I have Kevin and Anastasia. I met them years ago. They were loyal to me, and so I offered to change them. They agreed, and since the beginning of my company they were there to help me. The true reason why I started my companies is that I wanted to unite the supernatural world and have a kingdom, where vampires, werewolves and witches could leave together. I bought a huge pice of land from the US government and started my construction. I used my own construction company to build a town. All of the workers were human, because it is supposed to be a secret, and all of them were compelled to forget the location and the exact things they were building. The town is nearly ready. All the houses have been completely built and furnished already. The only thing left is the palace. At the moment the team there is finishing my floor. I left it for the end. 

Now, back to reality. I got out of my room and saw Kevin and Anastasia sitting in the living room discussing some business. While I had to visit my late grandmother’s coven today, they were doing some work in the human world for the business. I am planning to build a new solar energy plant in the town and they will be meeting with a lawyer to discuss all the paperwork and actions required. After a few words, I left to go to the lobby to get some coffee. As soon as I had my coffee in my hands Andreas, my driver of 50 years, started the drive. While on route, I got an email from Alice, my designer. As I didn’t understand a bit from what she sent me, I decided to call her. So, I found her contact and face-timed her.

— Good morning Miss Lancaster.

— Hi Alice. I got your email, but I didn’t understand a bit. Can you please explain.

— Sure thing, ma’am. As you know we are finishing your floor here at the castle, and we still don’t know what to do with the spare room. You told us to wait with that one. You know, the room that has a door connected to yours?

— Yeah. Alice, I am gonna be open with you. That room is going to be a nursery one day. The floor was designed with that in mind. 

— Oh. But you haven’t found your mate yet, ma’am. 

— I know, that is why I asked you to wait, but I think it would be better not to leave the room half-done. So here is what we are going to do. I want you to paint three of the walls light beige. And the other one dark blue. I want you to draw forest, a huge moon, and two wolves. One is going to be white as me with emerald eyes, the other one dark black with light blue eyes. 

— Ma’am, are you sure about the other wolf? It seems like you know your mate is going to be a werewolf, and a black one.

—Actually, yes. I do know that. 

— I am so sorry ma’am. 

— Don’t worry about it. Also, can you please install some furniture in the room. Something in those colors.

— Of course, ma’am. 

— Thank you Alice. And can you make sure that everything is done in the next 32 hours. I have a feeling I will be home by then. 

— No problem, ma’am. 

— Thanks. Goodbye Alice.

— Goodbye Ma’am. 

I turned off the call and realized Andreas was looking at me with a funny expression. 

— What is it Andreas?

— Elli, since when do you know your mate’s wolf? And a nursery? Does you wolf feel like she is about to meet her mate?

— I don’t know. I have been somehow scared and excited since we landed last night. And regarding the wolf, I saw him first time in my dream about 30 years ago. Since then, I periodically have visions of that black wolf. And I am pretty sure that’s my mate. Anyway, I don’t know, I just don’t want to loose hope. And the nursery should be built. I will for sure use it one day. 

— You shouldn’t loose hope Elli. You are going to turn 121 this year. You are still young. You will meet him soon enough, and you will have kids, ok?

— Ok. How long till we are there?

— Maybe 5-10 minutes.

— Alright.
