Ava felt somewhat annoyed when the blonde haired woman turned to her again...smiling. "Nice to meet you, Ava," she said. "Will you be staying with us long?"
"Um no," Ava said."I'll actually be leaving ton-"
"-She was going to leave tonight, but I was thinking it would be too dark to take her back to the city after dinner," Adrian replied. "She should stay the night, Diane, don't you think?"
Adrian turned to the blonde girl and she beamed. "Of course," she said. "Ava, you're our guest. Please stay with us."
Ava gave a weak smile. She nodded. "Sure."
"So I'll see you later tonight, mom. Let me grab a bite," Adrian said, pecking his mother's forehead and turning to leave. He pulled Ava after him.
