Sun rays streamed inside the room from the white chiffon curtains as Ava got up from the bed. It was mid-morning and Sunday. Ava took a moment to orient herself with her surroundings as she stretched on the wide bed.
Last night's events began to occur to her and she realized she had slept in the Silver Moon packhouse. Adrian had brought her here. Ava yawned as she checked the time on her phone. It was already about ten thirty am. Also, she had some missed calls from Kayla.
Ava dropped her phone, shaking her head. She had talked with Kayla before she went to bed yesterday and she'd told Kayla that she would be coming back to the city today. But it seemed Kayla's calls would pester her until she reached home.
Ava walked towards the balcony into the sun's full glare slicing across.
