For the rest of the week, Ava saw more of Diane. They both worked with the events planner Mrs Draven had planning her daughter's eighteenth birthday. It fell to Ava and Diane and the birthday planner to make most of the decisions as the alpha's mother was usually not chanced to take active part.
Initially, Diane was passive-aggressive. It seemed that was the only expected response to the woman who had taken her betrothed from her. But soon, Diane began to maintain a work relationship with Ava as their delivery on the approaching surprise birthday party depended on that and none of the both of them wanted to let Mrs Draven down.
So far so good, they were both working well together to make all the arrangements. Friday loomed nearer.
