Ava and Adrian made their way to the reception counter and Adrian presented his ID and the receptionist scanned it. She presented Adrian with a key card, all the while flirting as she did so. Ava watched her with a frosty glare.
Ava and Adrian moved upstairs, following the elevator and going down passageways of marble floors until they arrived at a huge door. Adrian used the keycard he had been given to swipe the door open.
The door opened and he and Ava walked inside. The door closed behind them. They were in a lobby where men and women gathered and talked amongst each other.
In this lobby, waiters and waitresses moved around with trays of appetizers and drinks. A buffet table was on the other end of the lobby area. A few couches and tables spread at the back.
