Adrian nodded and let her go. Ava headed for the back of the lobby to the area that had the couches. She made herself comfortable on one of them while the voting took place in the deliberation hall. A few other people waited in the lobby, pressing on their phones or laptops, entertaining themselves with the soap opera on the flat-screen in the lobby or the food and drink.
The couch where Ava sat was to the far end of the lobby and so Ava got a good view of who left and entered the deliberation hall. A few people went in and out soon after the votes were cast. Some of them left the lobby area to join the passage hall that led to the other rooms outside of the deliberation hall or the elevator.
As time passed and Ava tried to distract herself with her phone, she began to feel sleepy.
