"I realize now that I should have just responded that I came back for a vacation and not necessarily that I was fighting with Adrian," Ava said. "I know Adrian would never tell you that we're fighting so in the end, you'll never know except we told you."
"Well, you admitted that you were fighting with him and that is why we're having this discussion," Nathan pointed out. "And I know you would have gone to Kayla's place if that had been the case- that you were on vacation. I'm usually your second option."
He was right, Ava thought.
"Fine," Ava said, a sigh escaping her lips. "So Adrian found out that I'm from the Blood Moon pack."
Nathan did not seem to understand why that should cause a fight, so Ava gave more context.
