Lilly - Party

The day had been hectic, who knew the wolves coming to study would cause so much trouble. She could feel Dark Eyes was happy of the results of the day, Mitch had protected her by distracting the other wolves first declaring them mates then kissing her the way he did. However, she felt his feelings through the kiss surely he couldn't make that up, he was cute and kind if they were to be mates even pretend it wouldn't be such a bad thing. Would it? Dark Eyes wasn't sure she just new it was a big thing, and it wasn't over.

Lilly got home, she placed out the food she had prepared and some drinks, but she was sure people would bring their own. She also hid all the breakable and locked rooms she didn't wish to be entered, mainly Ray's room. She was alone she got undressed and got into the shower ready for her party, ready to see Mitch again. She washed her hair then got out of the shower and dyed. She had planned a while ago what she would wear a black lace skater dress with heels, she looked beautiful she gave her hair a bit of a shake it formed natural curls then put on a bit of make up. She was ready.

The party was in full swing, it was a party nearly the whole of the university was here in her small house, people were drunk of course the music was loud. Lilly chose this night to just relax and let loose just act like this was a normal eighteenth when your father wasn't at home, she went to get another drink. She walked towards the kitchen passing a couple making out on the stairs, she just shrugged her shoulders. People had brought their own alcohol there were boxes of beers and bottles of wine and spirits on the side, Lilly poured herself some wine. She found it very hard to get drunk on a night out her friends would be on the floor, when Lilly had only started to feel the little buzz of drinking all night.

Izzy one of the girls from her class moved her way through the crowd and grabbed Lilly's hand “come dance with me there are some cute guys here” she just about heard Izzys words over the music even with her hearing. Lilly rolled her eyes and went with her friend, she felt Dark Eyes disappointment when the cute guys didn't turn out to be Mitch. He still wasn't here maybe he wasn't going to come. Izzy had a point though these guys were breathtaking she was surprised she hadn't seen them around campus before. Izzy danced with a male who was tall and skinny with blond hair he was handsome but even in this light you could tell he was pale. Lilly's attention then went to his companion her own dance partner he was shorter than his friend, handsome, dark brown styled hair, pale, red eyes. She stopped for a brief moment humans don't have red eyes. She carried on dancing trying to pretend she really hand not noticed. Dark Eyes was alert she knew that smell, she had smelt it when they were at the river it wasn't the same, but he had to be the same breed. Dark Eyes knew he was a vampire Mitch had told her about them, however they were surrounded by people, and Mitch still had not arrived.

A smirk came across her dance partners lips it was as if he knew she had just put the pieces together. Lilly glanced over at Izzy who seemed fixated on the other male like there was no one else left in the room. Her attention was then brought back to the male before her his voice soft and silky it was pleasant to hear, but he leaned in to be heard.

“ You alright you have suddenly seemed like you have gone all tense on me?"

He was playing her surely if he was a killer like Mitch had described then he wasn't stupid to what she was. Lilly faked a soft laugh like he had said something funny as she leaned into him to speak.

“ I'm just enjoying your company I have not seen you around cam pass. Don't you like how the campus has so many good sun trips to sit and feel the sun on your skin.”

Now it was his turn to laugh but to her disappointment it seemed genuine. “ I can't say, I have noticed, I prefer the nighttime classes."

She rolled her eyes at his response, and he caught her raising his eyebrow the smirk never leaving his lips. He was enjoying their play, he came closer to her he felt his hand go to the bottom of her back bring her closer to him. She resisted the urge to pull back like Dark Eyes was commanding her to do. She needed to keep an eye on Izzy, so she didn't get the life sucked out of her.

Lilly then felt herself being pulled closer to the male as he had one hand on the bottom of back the other moving around the back of her neck bring her closer. His scent consumed her it was sweet, but it burned her nose. She placed one hand on his shoulder she moved her other hand to the back of his neck. To anyone looking they would look as if they were in an embrace. His soft musical voice which she tried hard not to be attracted to fill her ears once more.

“Let's not play pretend now love. You know what I am... and I know what you are”

She stiffened a little the game was up, but she didn't feel under threat, and she was sure Mitch would be here soon. She dug her nails into the back of his neck. “I wasn't pretending if you know what I am then you know you in trouble right now right? Then why the hell did you come to my party”

Again he laughed it just annoyed her more that he was amused by her “love before you try to tear my head off, if that is what you're trying to do, it feels good, so I'm not sure think about it. There is too of us and one of you and a whole house of humans. What exactly do you plan to do?" She felt him move his head to her neck he breathed out causing her to shiver a little. His forced breath was cold. Lilly dug her nails in move to his neck a small moan passed his lips. She then let go, and moved from his hold placing her hands on his shoulders holding him at arms length.

Lilly glanced at Izzy who had broken her gaze with the other male vampire and was frowning between Lilly and the male who much to Lilly's annoyance just gave her a breathtaking smile. Izzys male companion placed his hand on Izzys cheek and leaned in whispering to her she blushed and giggled.

Why couldn't Lilly just have one human night with her friends. Why couldn't things just go back to normal.

“Your drawing attention to us” the Male teased “would you rather go somewhere more quiet."

Lilly let go of the male “no I wouldn't as I prefer my friends breathing thank you.”

This forced the Male to roll his eyes and smile. Lilly really wished he would stop doing that, it was frustrating that he found her insults funny, but she also couldn't push down how gorgeous he was when he smiled or smirked. The red eyes would take some getting used to, but she was sure she could learn to love them.

“We are not loving any part of this blood sucker now kick him out” Dark Eyes voice boomed in her head. Lilly pushed her down.

“Your stubborn you know that, that's your wolf side” his tone was low, but he knew her hearing would be able to pick up his words. It caused a frown on her face. “But your other side you don't know yet do you?" He was smirking again he knew something. “You Lilly are very special” Shock registered on her face he knew her? Or had Izzy told him. She was intrigued she felt herself leaning in closer wanting to know more. “ Ah now you know I know something your coming closer, come on let's take his somewhere else?"

Lilly bit her lip the thought of being alone with him made her excited she wasn't sure if it were her body or the fact he knew something. She felt Dark Eyes make a hurling sound " well it isn't coming from me that's for sure, this is all you sicko" Dark Eyes didn't approve. Lilly thought for a moment she couldn't leave Izzy. “I will come, but he needs to leave and anyone else you have in here... alone.. out of this house alone.”

The Male before her nodded and made a short whistle sound his companions head shot up, they both headed toward the door Lilly gave an apologetic look to Izzy as she left, Izzy looked devastated. Lilly followed the males to the door, the male she had been speaking to the one with the smirk stopped to open it, and he stood back. His male left followed by fifteen that Lilly had counted males and females who had exited the house. How had she not smelt them, Lilly then went to follow to expecting to go outside when the smirking Male stopped her his hand cold on her wrist. Lilly's head turned sharply giving him a warning look to back off he held his hands up in surrender then shut the door.

“They all left alone... so where do we go?" He offered her a breathtaking smile then same he had offered Izzy, Lilly however rolled her eyes, her heart was beating fast in her chest she couldn't deny her body was attracted to him. “See so stubborn” he mumbled behind her.

She started to walk up the stairs, and she glanced over her shoulder at him as he made a long whistle “Damn girl at least you might need to know my name before you take me to bed."

She turned away quickly surprising the smile that crossed her lips he was cheeky that was for sure. “I don't need to know your name as we are not going to bed. I like my blood in my body”

Lilly could hear the smirk without even looking his voice was cheeky but alluring “Well its Luca if you change your mind."

“I won't” was the only response she could give as she wasn't fully convinced herself she was telling the truth. Everything about this male made her want him, his voice, his scent even if he did stink, his smile, his body his smirk he was intoxicating.

She made her way to her bedroom and opened the window she then stepped out onto the porch roof before making her way onto the roof of the house. The whole town could be seen from up here it was a good look out. She saw her class mates staggering through the streets, it was getting late. Luca sat himself down next to her, their sides touched he was that close it was obviously done on purpose. Lilly reluctantly moved a way a little putting some space between them. Luca pouted putting on his best sad adorable face. “I'm going to get cold up here without you heat love, you don't want me to freeze to death.”

Lilly run her hands through her hair looking the other way trying to hide her smile, making a mental note to add funny to her list of things that made him attractive.

“So, you know me how?" Her voice was sharp and to the point. She wasn't going to let him know he was funny.

“What because I called you Lilly you think I know you?"

“You said I was special why?"

“Well it's not often you come across a beautiful stubborn bad ass-”

“You know what I mean?"

He chuckled “so, you admit you a stubborn beautiful bad ass then."

Lilly growled punching him in the arm to which she regretted as his arm was hard and cold what she would imagine punching stone would be like “stop playing with me if you have nothing then piss off."

Luca rubbed his arm “Alright I know something, they thought they lost you when your mother disappeared and it wasn't until someone spotted you at the lake they knew you had survived.”

Lilly was then interested what he was saying didn't make sense he knew her mother? Who was they?.

“They have been trying for years to try again but it hasn't worked the mother dies or the baby dies no one can match up to you. An now we have found you.” His voice broke off a little as he look at her but his face read of fondness gone was the cheeky smirk. “Show me her”

Lilly frowned a little he wasn't sure what he wanted. “Who?"

“Your wolf” his voice was soft, At that moment she would have given him anything he wanted.

“f**k off” Dark Eyes declared within her head.

“Come on please” Lilly pleaded she wanted to give him what he wanted as he had told her information even if it didn't make sense.

“No”

“Please”

“f**k off”

“Stop it"

“Lalalala”

“Dark Eyes just once”

“You won't like it, I won't be kind”

A groan escaped Lilly's lips she didn't realize as she had been having an inward battle he had been watching fascination written on his face. Lilly blushed a little " she refused."

He smacked his knee and laughed “see I told you stubborn." His attention was then brought to in front of the house one of the female vampires stood in all her beauty. She waved at Lilly and winked her fiery red hair blowing in the wind. “She wants you home now Luca." Her voice was sweet like his she then vanished but Lilly's eyes could just make her movement out she was fast no human for sure would be about to see her run.

Luca stood and stretched “well it was nice while it lasted love."

Lilly's heart was pounding in her chest he was leaving. “Are you coming back?" She realized how stupid she sounded as Dark Eyes started to make sick sounds again, which didn't help by his reaction. His expression lit up, and he smiled, but he then smirked.

“So, you want to see me again or you want to know more?"

“Both” Lilly just kept looking forward then a smile on her lips.

She felt him lean down close crouching his face next to hers. Her breath hicked slightly “Then, until next time love"

He was then gone. It was as if after a few moments the hase disappeared, and she was left with a strong vile stink.
