I woke up still feeling sad, but I felt a weight lifted from my chest. Aaliyah and no doubt Rheya, knew what I was going through, and I technically had not disobeyed Thomas.
“I fear she won’t survive in his harsh environment Marcus,” I heard Brittany’s voice say to Marcus. I wanted to eaves drop so I kept my breathing as even as possible and tried not to move around.
