Father

"Well he....Shit this is hard mom's going to kill me. We've all hidden for so long."
"I know my father was in prison if that's what you're trying to tell me.'
"Do you know what he was in for?"
"Not really mom never said."
"Purgery. Someone put him inside for taking money from where he worked."
"But it was his business wasn't it?"
"Exactly."
"So why the hell would he steal from himself?"
"That's what we all wanted to know. It took ten years to finally release him for something he didn't do."
"Did they ever find out who did it?"
She shook her head.
The drinks and food went down.
"Thanks." They chimed, the waitress chimed and they began to eat and talk.
"So what's the story between Tyler and your mom?"
"Oh he's one of my mom's friends as well as my. Uncle's they all grew up together. He had. A massive crush on her since he met her, but he never told her by the time he had the balls to, my father had already whisked her off her feet so my. Uncle keeps telling us. He was the one who caught my father cheating on my mom and told her, my uncle and Tyler lamped the s**t out of him."
He nodded.
"My mom got with Tyler after Jayden went to prison around six years later then she found out she was pregnant with Izzy a year later. Then it became a complete s**t show again, my father didn't know how to keep away whilst my mom was happy despite the restraining order against him he managed to break them up , but they're still friends, he always knew once Jayden was released from prison he'd be out of the picture. I think they were both shocked when mom fell pregnant with Izzy but s**t happened and you go with the flow. They'd broken up before Jayden returns home just say he was shocked that she had another daughter he knew everything about mom and Tyler he approved of the arrangement seen as he was behind bard and had given mom full power over his business to keep it grounded Tyler helped her through all the s**t that had been caused through the allegations of perjury I guess they just got closer to one another over the years Jayden was away from her."
"You've got an adult's head on those shoulders of yours."
"So I keep going told, the old mother hen thing aye.' She smirked.
"I wouldn't go as far as old, just an old head on young shoulders."
"Hey."She said, punching him playfully.
He laughed.
"So tell me about you."
"Not much to tell I grew up as an only child my stepfather left my mother when he found out that she wasn't able to conceive more children. I took over as the CEO at Colten enterprises. It was my grandfather's seen as I was the only heir it went to me. I studied hard to gain all the qualifications and training to take over from him last year."
She nodded.
He took her hands in his. "I really like you Lilly. I'd like to keep seeing you."
"But you're and I'm..." She said, getting tongue tied.
He smiled. "I don't care, age is just a number so what you say we continue this."
She smiled.
He leaned forward kissing her gently. Moving away. "So what are you doing after you leave school?"
"College."
"So, have you decided on what course you'll be doing?"
"Business for three years then management at Uni we'll see."
He smiled. "Have you got to get experience too?"
"Yeah."
"Maybe you can come to Colten enterprises. We have plenty of interns and college students."
"I don't know.'
"Just think about it."
He smiled, still holding her hand. He was glad she was giving him a chance he just hoped their parents wouldn't interfere; he wanted to see where all of this would lead. They finished their lunch and pulled themselves up. He laced his fingers with hers and they walked out of the car. He let go of her hand opening the car door, opening it. She smiled at him as a thanks she slipped in and he closed the door sliding over the bonnet getting into the car driving away.
He pulled up to the house leaning forward kissing her softly. He moved away. "I'll pick you up at the weekend okay?"
"Okay."
She opened the door and slipped out. "Thanks for today."
"My pleasure I'll pick you up at one and we can spend some time together okay."
"Okay."She said, before closing the door behind her walking away. She waved as he drove away. She hoped she was doing the right thing
Exam results
Lily had gone to pick up her exam results Addison was with his friends and she was with hers, they'd all arrived separate. Addison and his friends had arrived first as Brandon was meeting him around lunch so they could catch up ], he hadn't seen his father for a month now and he was hoping that his offer still stood about him moving into his apartment with him. He hadn't had any serious relationships since Taylor, he was hoping that they would reconcile and start over again once Jayden had been sent down and he'd been released from prison only to find she was with Tyler and she was expecting a child with him. He did everything on his power to split them up, eventually they had but she refused to be anything with Brandon ever again. This didn't sit well with him one bit. He did everything to make her life a living hell, he made sure to make her life as miserable as ehrs. Then Jayden had been related from prison and they were the most happiest couple he'd ever seen and it angered him even more than he was before but they were solid nothing would tear the two apart even him meeting Tyler's daughter, Taylor had never hidden anything from him he or me all about her and Tyler's relationship whilst he was inside, through the two clearly had no time for one another they got on for the sake of Tyler and Isabella. And it worked well.
Addison had told Lily he was going to hand with his friends for a while until he had to meet their father, Lily had console not to see her father as she grew up but Addison wanted to get to know the man that was his father; Brandon. His father was a manager of a big corporation in the city, he'd made his way up the ladder after he and Taylor had called it a day when the twins were still young. They had asked about their father several times but he wasn't aloud to see them even upon his release until they were at they were highschool age Lily had always rented her father after hearing each stories of his betrayal to their mother, but Addison wanted to know his father's side which was practically the same as his mother's but he had chose to continue his relationship with his father whereas Lily had chose against it maybe one day when she could truly forgive him for his actions, then and only then would she decide to pursue a relationship with her father.
Lily and her friends went into the small hall to get their results and smiles spread across their faces knowing that they had all got the results they all wanted and were all going to college together.
They all linked arms heading out of school heading to the shopping center for some retail therapy.
Her mobile buzzed. "Meet me at the bistro in thirty mins for coffee and to share any good news on your exam results. Rhys xShe smiled typing back "Be with you in ten x"
She slid her mobile into her pocket smiling.
"What's with the smile Lil?"
"Nothing.'
"Nothing my ass."
"It's that guy isn't it ? The one who came to our school?"
She blushed. 'He wants me to meet him for a coffee."
"Well what are you waiting for?"
"Are you sure it's okay guys?"
"Yes now go, can't keep him waiting."
"You have to tell us the deeds."
She grinned hugging her friends before going to the bistro to meet Rhys.
He stood up hugging her, kissing her cheek. "I got you a hot chocolate hope you don't mind."
"Not at all." She smiled
They both sat down. "So are congrats in order?"
She smiled wider.
"I take it by the smile that's a yes."
She nodded.
"So your results were good?"
"Yeah they were better than good they were great they were all A's"
He grinned widely. "I guess we should celebrate how about we go out for dinner tomorrow night no doubt your mom has something planned."
"You're welcome to come."
"Nagh I'll feel out of place, besides it's for you and your brother."
"You're family too."
"I know.' He sighed. 'But I know your brother doesn't liek me so I don't wish to add fuel to the fire."
"Okay." She sighed.
Rhys sat with Lily having a coffee. He really liked this girl she brought the best out in him.
Addison sat talking to Brandon he was due to move in now school was officially over.
Brandon looked over. "So how did your exams go?"
"Good."
"You got your results today right?"
"Yeah I did."
"So what you get?"
"A's.” He says, shrugging his shoulders.
"That's good, really good."
"Is it?”
"Yeah it is. What's wrong Addi?"
“You still okay with me moving in with you?”
“Of course. Is your mom okay with it?”
“I'm sixteen, dad.”
“I know. I just don't need to be in the middle of any arguments.”
“You always will be, so don't threat. I want to move out and in with you.”
“And what about your sister?”
He shrugged his shoulders. “She's moms little girl dad, she's going to be hard to convince.”
He nodded looking over to the bistro his face paled.
