Thomas's POV
This is the first time that I have slept in my bed since I brought Mia to this pack. Even when she was missing I couldn't bring myself to sleep on the bed. I feared that her delicious scent of cinnamon would disappear if I slept in the bed. But now that she is right next door, I felt like it was time to crawl back into my bed.
After months of sleeping on the couch, the bed feels too big. The scent of cinnamon is almost gone from the sheets, making it feel like Mia was never here at all. Throwing off the blankets, I toss and turn in the bed until I realize that I won't be getting any sleep tonight.
