Chapter 9: Seo Yuan could hear her own heartbeat. Loud. Unsteady. Betraying everything she felt. Min Yoon-gi was too close—his presence wrapping around her like a vice, like a fire she couldn't put out. She should push him away. She should end this before it’s too late. But the second she looked into his eyes, she knew she wouldn’t. Because she wasn’t the only one caught in this storm. Yoon-gi wasn’t just staring at her—he was devouring her. Like he had been starving for her. Like he was barely holding himself back. "Say it again," he murmured, his lips just inches from hers. Seo Yuan swallowed hard. "Say what?" His fingers brushed along her jaw, tilting her chin up until she was trapped in his gaze. "That I shouldn't be here." His voice was dark, teasing—but his eyes were anything but. Because he knew. His lips pressed against hers with an aching intensity, as if he wanted her to feel every ounce of control he was about to lose. Seo Yuan gasped against his mouth, and that was all it took for him to unravel. He deepened the kiss, his hands sliding down her arms, then gripping her waist—pulling her against him until there was nothing between them. His touch was firm, possessive—a silent declaration. Mine. Her fingers curled into his shirt, holding on as if she was afraid to let go. Afraid of what this meant. Afraid that after this, there would be no turning back. Because deep down, she already knew— She belonged to Min Yoon-gi. And he was never going to let her go
