{CHAPTER 6} DISOWNED AND DEJECTED

Dad hunged up on me like I meant nothing to him

A few tears dropped from my eye and I wiped it off angrily

I was about to leave when I heard a voice behind me..

"We meet again" It was him! the same guy from last night! it's him! My brain was screaming for me to run but I couldn't move my legs, I turned to look at him..., he looked really handsome in his work attire... if only people knew what kind of monster he was... "Errm Hi" I simply said and made to leave but my legs were wobbly, I mustered all the strength I can and tried to walk away but he grabbed my arm!

"Don't just walk away! You did the same thing at the hotel this morning..., I couldn't even get to explain myself"

"Oh seriously? Explain yourself! wow" I stared at him briefly before asking to leave "Can you please leave me alone so I can leave?, If only your bosses knew what kind of a monster you are, am pretty sure they would have fired you already! I yelled at him

He stared at me half suprised... "So you don't know me? Well for the records I can't be fired because I own this company and what makes you think am a monster? you haven't even given me the chance to explain!" He said half yelling, you can tell he's agitated now

"Wow! no wonder you get to do whatever you want asshole! but just so you know karma is real!" I spat and walked off feeling both angry and dejected..

I walked into the house and there was Aunt Cath... in all her glory.., sipping some juice while watching TV, she turned to look at me with scornful eyes.

"So you still have the guts to come back here?? really?"

"Yes I came back and am going nowhere because this is my father's house! If at all anyone should leave it would be you!" I yelled at her... For the first time! But she didn't seem fazed.

"Oh really? Well how about you wait and see if he would still treat you the same after you hooked up with a total stranger!" That struck a nerve.

"You know? Aunt so you know I got r***d and yet this is how you treat me?? really?" I said blinking back tears

"And what was i supposed to do? Go there and fight for you? and by the way you caused it.. I mean who wears something that skimpy to a banquet!" sye spat rolling her eyes

"My dress was not skimpy! And you made me change anyway, you gave your daughter my dress!" I shouted at her expecting her to say something but she only turned away from me, I sighed heavily and went to my room.., I locked myself up and cried my heart out...

The days went by really fast.., I got called from the grays company to resume work but I declined! I couldn't stand the fact that I would be working under my r****t! Ofcourse Anna got really pissed but I finally got to tell her the truth.

Dad is coming back today..., I knew I had to prepare for the worst...

Dad no longer hears me out again, he always believes what Aunt Cath tell him..

I wonder if I could ever get my dad to love me like before... The sound of car arriving jolted me out of my reverie, Dad is back!

I quickly changed into something more presentable even though I look so miserable and went downstairs, Aunt Cath and Isabella were already there! Damn these people!.

"Welcome back dad" I said moving to hug him but he moved away from me and sat down

"I can't believe you couldn't even comport yourself for just two weeks! Have we spoilt you that much that you now lack basic morals?!" He thundered.

"Honey it's okay, You just got back.. you need to calm down" She chimed in

"It's not what you think dad, can you just give me a minute to explain??!"

"Melissa don't you know better than do get your father pissed? Just shut up already!" She said turning to dad and dad only looked at me scornfully "Honey, don't you think Melissa's case is getting out of hand? she's not just rude but can you believe she actually hooked up with a random guy at the banquet? I left there in total shame when people told me they saw her leave with some guys! But I love her and want the best for her so I called her I tried to talk some sense into her... but the next thing she did was shout at me and tell me to leave her father's house... I just had to leave her alone because I've gotten enough disrespect from her these past few days.." She said faking tears

"Melissa! so you actually did all this?! tell me it's a lie! Tell me! Just tell me she's lying Melissa!" Dad got up and held me by my shoulder aggressively shooting me forcefully, I started crying.

"Dad you have to believe me! it's not true! please!"

" So you're telling me you didn't leave the banquet with some guys? Then where were you when I called and you didn't pick! I even called your mother to ask your whereabout but she said you weren't home! where were you?!" He yelled

"Dad i agree people could've saw me leave with them but I swear they drugged me! they drugged me dad! they took me away and had someone... they ..had some.... someone ..ra...rape ....me" I broke

"My God, Melissa! when have you become so evil? they r***d you! seriously, you know if you had came up with another lie I might have believed you but this! hell no!!" My dad that had dotted on me for years just clarified that he didn't believe me... not even a bit

I wiped off my tears and stared back at dad

"Dad did you even love me and mom at all? Were you just pretending to care for me after mom died? were you just pretending to love mom when she was sick?? Because if you loved her! if you loved us that much you wouldn't have brought her best friend home! her best friend right after she died! but it's fine... you don't believe me? fine! it's all good alright? I will leave this hell of a house for you and your newly found family so you won't have to bother about me anymore since am such a disgrace okay!" I yelled and made to go upstairs but Aunt Cath pretentious voice stopped me

"Mel darling, you should just apologize to your father instead of making him more pissed.., you have nowhere to go! will you go and live on the streets?"

"I would rather live on the streets begging for food than live with a pretentious liar and a homewrecker like you!"

Whack! dad slapped me...

"Enough! you ungrateful witch! After everything I've done for you! you dare open your mouth to ask me if I ever loved you? You know I would rather have Isabella as my biological child than have you! You're a disgrace! if you step out of this house now don't bother coming back! I do not want to see your foot in my house again!" He thundered but with a little bit of hesitation

"Fine! I'll leave!" I made to go upstairs and packed my stuffs but he stopped me

"Where do you think you're going? to pack the belongings i bought with my money? no way! I bought everything in that room and you aren't leaving with nothing!" He yelled at me

I stared at the man I called my dad in shock... is this really dad?..
