“You should see Doctor Benson about this,” Derek told him unnecessarily one evening. Adam was fighting sudden nausea after having eaten four slices of pumpkin pie and downing them with a bacon sandwich.
“It’s probably nothing,” he said, undressing for bed.
“It’s not nothing. You’re not well, Adam. I want you to see the doctor about it.”
