A shiny beam of light pierced through my iris and I blinked continuously to adjust my eyes to the effect of the light. My lashes flickered open and I felt a throbbing ache in my head. It felt like it could split anytime soon and I broke out in cold sweat.
I tried to sit upright and I placed both hands beside me for support. I felt a warm and hard sensation almost immediately and I bolted in shock.
