Every time I passed by someone who apparently had a lot to say about me snatching Vanessa’s boyfriend, I stopped in my tracks and approached them. They are more taken aback by my boldness than anything else.
“You know, I think Vanessa is just fishing for attention.”
The boy with curly hair looked at me, horrified. He had spoken to his friend loud enough for me to hear, but he didn't want me to react. Wasn't that hypocritical of him?
“I mean, between me and her, a nerd and a hottie, who are you going to pick?” I asked, tilting my head.
His eyes ran up and down my body. “I mean, you are pretty hot as well.”
“Are you saying you’d pick me?” He looked even more horrified while Lana and Elise stood behind me, trying to act as if they were absolved from what I was doing.
