The room instantly fell silent. Every healer froze. Every breath seemed to stop. Then, at last, a soft cry drifted through the room. It wasn't loud or demanding. Instead, it carried a strangely calm dignity. Almost as though a tiny prince had arrived and was politely announcing his presence to the world. The youngest son had arrived. A wave of relief swept through me so powerful that I nearly sobbed. Beside me, Kael stared at the baby for several long seconds. His expression shifted from amazement to disbelief before he finally let out a shaky laugh. "Oh, he's going to be trouble." Exhausted laughter rippled throughout the room. The tension that had held everyone captive for hours finally broke. One by one, the healers carefully brought the babies to me and laid them beside me.
