Chapter 21: The Prerequisites of My Plan

“What a bunch of nonsense? Elder Agustus,”

Yelled one of the figures seated above on the right side of the balcony with green iris and green hair built like a strong man competitor, he called out to a demon with purple irises who possesses the same eye of veracity as Areath's which discerned lies from truths,

Agustus, who had been sat on the opposite balcony of the Grandif who yelled at him and had all stares aimed at him the entire time, rose up and said.

“The lady is not lying”

Words that incited a rowdy situation for the demons, and like bees flocking together, ceaseless murmuring of the demons filled the throne room, and like a domino effect, the cacophony grew louder as time passed.

“Calix, the only human with eyes that of the Grandifs… Calix, who had reported an angel capable of conversing proving the theory that angels are already exploiting humans… and Calix, who had met the materialized will of our Overlord”

Flatly said the King, as he stood up and stepped down from his high throne, slowly, he stepped down, his very direction was to where I was,

“This couldn’t be a coincidence, Right, Calix?”

Continued the king now with his voice slightly raised, I don’t know if it’s a question with good intentions or a bad one at that but I activated my eye in reflex to the King’s glowing eyes,

It was a sight to behold and a sight to ran away from at the same time, thousands of mirage were dancing in front of my very eyes, interlaying with one another, some were going for my head while the others were attempting to strike my arms, legs, torso, depending on my answer one of them would surely hit,

“Yes your majesty, even I wouldn’t consider this as a coincidence”

I replied, forcing the words out of my tightening throat, I've answered honestly, which is a relief since it implies I've answered right because no swords had cut my head, but the mirage were still in existence continuously shifting positions

"I see, Calix, what do you believe we should do based on your judgment of our lord's will, which is to ally with the humans?"

Said the King with an unnoticed sigh to all except me, I turned to look at father, who unexpectedly nodded without me uttering a single word, thus I stared back at the King,

"Your Majesty, I believe it is impossible to ally with every human for the time being; the majority of them despise our existence; however, there are those who revere us as well, though they are mostly degenerates and cultists with false beliefs; however, there are those who call themselves atheists, and they may be able to understand our stance; however, I believe spreading our influence would be the best way to begin."

Atheists would be the most reasonable and adaptable; they could be easily persuaded if I simply showed them proof of our existence; however, joining us for war would be a different story; however, if it's just spreading information, I suppose they could be relied upon, and they are who I'm expecting to be of assistance.

“I see, then how do you plan to reach them Calix?”

“I would suggest the usual way of summon, but it’s way too limited, we need to be able to stay at earth for long periods of time and be able to travel away from the magic circle”

“I don’t know if you’re well informed Calix, but staying out of the temporary domain would result to angels detecting you”

That's right, the magic circle with the intent to summon also opens a path for mana to shroud the summoning room, hiding us from the angels above. I'm not sure how the angels were able to detect us in the first meeting, but the second meeting was due to Anna's father's remains, so we'll have to work around those constraints before moving into action,

“I know your majesty, but we need to influence humans for them to see us in a better light”

Yes, this is the prerequisite for my plan to hide among the humans and gradually educate them about demons and angels, as well as the truth about history.

“Imaginably if we had such devices to roam Earth then what? What steps should we take in influencing them”

“Your majesty, disguising as humans and taking over as their leaders then slowly give hints of our existence is the only solution my shallow mind could come up with”

Living among the humans and gradually influencing them; it would be easier if words about the demons came from those at the top; presidents, famous athletes, celebrities, artists and even priests; however, a church is an angel's territory, so that would be difficult to implement; additionally, directly building a church made for the demons would also attract angels' attention, so that is out of the question; Directly tempting the humans with the crimson eyes of temptation is also out because the effect would wear off if the demon ran out of mana; the only way to be safe was to create a magic similar to that of a temporary domain(the room where the demon is summoned by a human) to shroud the demons existence and prevent the angels' eyes from falling on them and gradually take over the human leaders; however, such a plan would be placed in the hands of the alchemist if they successfully create a magic to hide the presence of a constantly moving demon,

“That said your majesty, such plan has a lot of fla-“

I tried to emphasize that the plan had numerous flaws, but the king abruptly interrupted with commands.

“Then let us do just that, Garlu, take all alchemist with you to your duchy and come up with a magic capable of what the Calix had mentioned”

Ordered the king, to a demon with golden irises and hairs reaching his hips, keen eyes, a slender face, and a remarkable likeness to people classified as nerds on Earth, who apparently is a duke based on the king's command of taking the alchemist to his "duchy"

“Zeroth, take all contract holders and use your duchy as a base, and come up with strategies enforcing the kids ideas”

Followed by Garlu, the king ordered Zeroth, a demon duke with eyes of crimson color and a frizzy crimson hair with dark complexion,

“Areath, Lugvies, take all those common demons interested of being an orphus and train them as capable warriors along with the pure demons be sure to establish the usual ranking system”

Ordered the king to Areath along with Lugvies, who has a golden eye and hair, is a demon with a boyish cut, despite her attractiveness, which would pass for the Korean ideal for beauty, and her hourglass figure indicating that she is a woman. Given that she was charged with military training with her father, she would undoubtedly be as strong as or even stronger than him, a lady and a warrior, an opponent who would be mentally and physically draining.

“That is all, all are to return to their duchy, and await further orders”

“Understood”

The Dukes replied as they exited through the door, followed by the marquess, earls, and viscounts; they had begun to group themselves in line with the King's order, as had Heather, who had followed Lugvies along with her father, Elena had followed Garlu, and I was about to join Esteroth and Halen at Zeroth's side when I was stopped by the king's palm grabbing my shoulder.

“And you Calix, are to train with us Grandif’s”
