Is this a child's room? My vision was filled with a childlike room with pink walls and hundreds of junk toys strewn about. Who would summon a demon in a child's room!? It was a kid! , a youngster! She glanced at me with her small eyes, possibly curious, does she even realize what she'd done? I was anticipating some degenerate people, but Imps don't seem to mind their age or morals.
* Imps are common demons who have been transformed from humans with the sole goal of distributing the ritual of summoning a demon through books to those who have a strong feeling of desire as a kind of repayment for the demon's services they had received when they were human.
I have mixed feelings about this, but my Entha is making me quiver with excitement, thus I coughed and asked the child,
“Child, what is it that you desire?”
“I want to play with mommy” she instantly replied, with no changes of expression, I am a demon you know be afraid, well whatever,
To play with her mother? Is that it? Oh then, her mother is most likely deceased, thus this desire would fall under illusion magic. I brought out a specially made contract that looked no different than an ordinary paper and etched down using a mana powered pen the child's desire as well as the solution I came up with, which is to create an illusion of her mother. Reviving the dead is an impossible feat especially if the soul had already returned to the flow of mana. The contract, which was a rough piece of paper glowed and revealed the consequence of the child’s desire, the contract stated that her life force would be absorbed and replaced with demon mana, transforming her into a semi-demon, and when her time on Earth came to an end, the contract stipulated that she would automatically undergo Ingrol and be teleported to the Duchy of De Val's location, where she would serve for two years before being released to Helliun. This I explained to her, but I am doubtful that she even understood. I smeared the contract with my blood and asked her to do the same; I expected her to have second thoughts, but she immediately held out her wounded hand, which she had most likely cut earlier for the ritual. Sealing the contract with her blood, the contract began siphoning a blue colored mist from the child, which brought me an elevated feeling of happiness and fulfilment, and in exchange, I conjured an illusion of her mother, convincing her that I had brought her back to life.
I watched the child happily play with the illusion until she fell asleep, and I'm still watching her talk with her illusionary mom as she leaves for school, which scared his father who was standing in front of the door, and to my surprise the child even waved me goodbye, I should've left yesterday but maybe I missed earth a bit, I waited for the father who can't perceive me to go upstairs before I opened up the television in their living room… Because I couldn't get more than 5 meters away from the magic circle where I was summoned, I had to rely on the television for information. I spent the afternoon cramming worthless information into my head; Earth was still as shitty as it had been six months before. I was about to call Gale to activate the magic circle when I heard a thud upstairs. I went upstairs and found the body of Anna's father, who had taken his own life, leaving his daughter all alone. How I wish I could do another contract and turn Anna's father into a demon, but one contract filled with the life force of a human is the limit of the transfer magic that leads back to Helliun. I'm conflicted; leaving Anna on her own is fine, I suppose; some people have thrived after being abandoned by their parents; I'm sure Anna would as well, or so I thought; but my foot won't budge towards the magic circle; I'm a demon now, but human values still govern my emotions; I know myself better than anyone else, and abandoning Anna is something I can't do; thus, I've decided to wait for her; I plan to perform Ingrol and take her to Helliun with me even if she resists. Nothing awaited for her in Earth but hardship anyway.
Anna arrived an hour later, excited to see her mother and father, but I had made my decision; not that I understand what it's like to lose someone, I slowly led her upstairs to her father's remains; I'm not sure how to explain what his father did or why he did it, but one thing is certain: his father had ceased to exist. Anna stood still and sobbed at the sight of his purpled face father hanging on the rope, watching the scene of Anna embracing his deceased father, an alarm went off in my head; I had forgotten something important, the existence of beings with the greatest influence on Earth, the so-called guide of those who have perished, I activated my eyes and sure enough, beyond the Earth's atmosphere, there it stood, flapping its metallic wings, ready to descend directly below us,
I had asked my father why my eyes, an eye that can read the flow of mana, can see beyond the earth's atmosphere, and he simply said that mana is everywhere around us, and the eyes of Plegia with a limit perceive locations that contain some, except those mana that resides on beings who have souls. And as to why I was not able to percieve Helliun’s atmosphere was because of Azam’s mana shrouding it.
As the angel descended, I immediately cut the mana supplying my eye and drew a magic circle to summon Asporeas; at the same time, I grasped Anna's soul and performed Ingrol, pulling her soul from her flesh and recreating a new body out of mana, just like Esteroth did. I grasped the now summoned sword and Anna, who was knocked out by the magic Ingrol’s side effect, and went downstairs to Anna's room, where the magic circle was set up. I stood in the center of a two-meter-wide magic circle, but an angel, the lowest kind of angel, had arrived with a dazzling light before I could call Gale.

“the lowest kind of angel?”
“Yes, the one with metallic wings and a blinding halo, I think you can match them now” said Heather, praising his brother that is able to counter two successive blows without using his eyes ability to read the flow of mana.
The Eyes of Plegia are unable to read the flow of mana in beings with souls, but when mana is utilized by a being with a soul, it oozes out with a mirage of its intent that the Eyes of Plegia can see, which is why Heather had forbidden its use when training Calix.
“Its better if I don’t meet one tho” shrugged Calix,
“Yeah, id advised quickly running, but just in case, always go for its halo, it will be disoriented if you manage to break it”

Thanks for the lessons, Brother Heather, I gripped Asporeas's handle and blocked the angels overhead strike, the teleport would take a minute to activate, thus I just have to hold out that long, parrying the angels sword, I retracted Asporeas and quickly went for its halo but it quickly dodge sideways and prepared for another attack, swiftly I activated the Eyes of Plegia and read its mana’s intent, the mirage of the angel went for my foot thus I jumped as a response dodging the angel's sword that swoosh past by the space I was standing at a while ago, regaining my step, with my eyes still activated I saw the angel’s mirage intent in stabbing my head thus I crouched and propelled my body with my sword pointing towards its glowing halo and like a glass breaking, the halo creaked and disintegrated. Returning to the now glowing magic circle, I turned around to glimpse at the angel, but was surprised with its next word,
“I’m Sorry Anna”
