The warmth of Jeremy"s lips left a quick peck on her forehead, and then he locked serious burning eyes onto hers. No words were spoken, she only nodded and made her best attempt to swallow the growing lump in her throat. * * * The slow rolling tires of Autumn"s car screeched to a halt at a stop sign. Two blocks to her right, and hardly visible was a narrow, broken down, two-story brick house. Half of the windows were busted or cracked, spray paint decorated one whole side, and the other displayed a large portion of black charred fire remnants. They"d circled the block twice, as well as each surrounding block for at least a five mile radius.
