As soon as Autumn looked up at Josie, her pinched expression smoothed into a gentle and caring gaze. A half-hearted smile filled Autumn"s face, and she stood to greet her not so solemn guest. “Why don"t you go have a seat where it"s comfortable, honey? This is ready to eat, I"ll get us a plate.” Josie nodded in appreciation and turned to make herself comfortable on the loveseat. She found the remote to the already powered on television, and started flipping. Josie had all but forgotten how nice it was to do such mundane things like aimlessly flipping through channels on a television. The normality was awkward, and for no reason at all it made her feel guilty, as if she was doing something wrong. Momentarily, Josie settled for an old episode of The Family Guy.
