Both Luke and I gasp, and Luke stammers, "He… He is gonna make it? He isn't dead?"
"For now, but his body has been under immense pressure. There can still arise complications, but he came through the worst, and luckily he is strong and in great shape," the doctor answers.
We thank him several times, and he tells us that we can come to him with any questions and that we are allowed to go visit Sean, but he is still unconscious.
A nurse shows us to his room, and we quietly walk inside. Luke looks at me with tears in his eyes. "It's so hard seeing him like this, but at least he is alive."
